Some one helped themself to my grand son's iPhone 4s, i bought the zte phone to replace the iphone and my grand son tells me after afew days of using it that he liked the zte better than the iphone4s
This ZTE Concord II is awesome. My first smartphone that makes me wonder why I waited so long to buy one. I now feel up-to-date and in the know without breaking the bank. It has and does everything The best purchase I've made in years. I bought a 32 GB micro SDHC card and put a bunch of movies, music, pictures and documents on it without hardly making a dent. I'm in love. Thanks Walmart for the great deals!
Perfect phone for my 11 year old grandson. He's able to text make calls and plays games. He loves his new phone And for the price its perfect
So someone else suggested that the Huawei Prism II would be a better phone...and I said: "Wha...?!" Sorry, but I just traded in my busted Prism II for this phone, and the Concord II is lightyears ahead of the Prism II. This phone has a newer OS (Jellybean 4.3), great resolution, great camera with LED flash, comparable battery time, and MUCH faster. My Prism II was one of the slowest phones I have ever had... my Concord II? Runs smoothly without any problems. Would I get this phone again? In a heartbeat! Would I do the same for the Prism II? No way. Walmart doesn't even offer the Prism II anymore, which is no surprise to me. For the person looking for a good smartphone on a budget, this is the answer you've been waiting for.
I bought this phone initially as a temporary replacement of my Samsung S5 that broke! I liked the specs and the reviews, but after trying it for myself, I really liked the phone. Battery lasts all day and then some with normal usage (phone calls, emails, texts, pics, surfing). For a dual core processor, it is a pretty fast responsive phone. Camera could use a lot of improvements, but for the low price I paid, how could I complain. I've had this phone for over 8 months now, and love it.
Absolutely great phone. Gorilla Glass 3.0, Notification Light, very loud earpiece and speakerphone. Excellent Bluetooth range as well, I can walk two rooms away and still be connected without any interference. Very good battery life, light-to-moderate users should get two days from it. Good sized screen and the phone is not overly big or bulky at all. Can't beat the price, either. My cellphone company was trying to 'upgrade' me into a much more expensive phone at three times the price but this one is much better.
The perfect size,I could not put my phone down for hours,it fits perfectly in my hands and it works great. All those things like battery life and app kills as a problem the phone has solved. This phone wont have to run a race for me but it will keep me happy on the internet and making calls. It will do tv and movies great and it gives you an easy way to move apps to the SD card, lots of storage.Very Happy I bought my ZTE Concord 11.
It has adequate sound quality but some people complain that my voice is garbled. This is usually from home where service isn't great. The battery is rated at 10 days in standby but it's more like 6 or 5. Talk time is about 3 hours which is just OK. The screen is fine except in bright sunlight, and the Gorilla Glass is very scratch resistant. It's much quicker than my old ZTE Valet.
While the phone is not bad for the price, and the monthly service fee from T Mobile is about average for a pre-paid phone, T Mobile is abysmally slow if you want to change any features on the account. In my case I purchased the phone and the service for my Grandson, after a few weeks he wanted to add on a 1 Gig data plan for $5.00 per month. He would had to wait an entire month for the data plan to go into effect. I assume that this is because this is a pre-paid plan. In any case I found that for about the same price I could add him to my AT&T account, with out having to jump through hoops.
The phone is super slow. It takes a long time for the internet browser, regardless of which one you use, to open and awhile for pages to open. It doesn't auto populate your searches. For example when entering an address into google maps it doesn't populate the rest of the address. You have to type the whole address and then search and searching for addresses also takes a long time. Google voice typing doesn't hear you well so you'll speak your text message to your phone and it doesn't usually catch anything you say. Also there aren't many options for google voice typing and so it doesn't capitalize the beginnings of your sentences. Overall you're really getting what you're paying for which isn't a whole lot. The phone functions. That's about it.
