i really love this phone. coming from my lg optimus i really love the screen size, picture quality and the fact it already had Jellybean installed. apps work great. camera is excellent. only issue is i can't seem to get internet w/ out WiFi. just like Straight Talk there are limits to what this can do. certain pre-loaded apps/functions are pointless since they are not able to use them but no biggie can work around that.
Great phone, says it wouldn't work in my area but it does. I have the wal-mart mobile plan and upgraded from the HTC Wildfire S. I love the phone and it has all the most current features. It is actually the T-989 and it uses a dual core 1.5 ghz processor. It also has ice cream sandwich android which has several updates over my previous phone.
I was excited about ordering this phone, but nervous about using Walmart Family, being a non cell phone company. I felt better that T Mobile was the provider though. Still, I thought I would try it. It's great!! The website works well and does everything I need it to do. After initial activation, my internet wasn't connecting at first so I had to call for help. The lady was extremely helpful and she got me going in no time. The bad thing for me was I couldn't transfer my phone numbers over so I had to do it manually. But I love the No Contract aspect and the $40.00 monthly price, you can't beat it. Unlike some other comments/posts, I found a bunch of cases to choose from on Walmart.com. Just type in the samsung galaxy 2 t989 accessories and a bunch come up to pick from. I upgraded from a 'dumb' phone (with no internet) to a smartphone and added unlimited internet to my plan for only an extra $10 a month from my previous plan. I love having the internet with me at all times and the speed is very acceptable. Very happy!!
Got this phone a few days ago and I am loving it! I had the original Galaxy S (for AT&T) and the charging port came off the circuit board. This has all the great features of the Galaxy S but its soooo much bigger. I don't mind the size but it is quite a bit bigger than an iphone. It also has a front camera so if a loved one has the same phone or one that has a front camera and is on T-Mobile you can do a "facetime" type thing! It is a bit cheaper than buying one from the regular T-Mobile line which is good as well.
Does everything and more. Doesn't lock up and always has a good signal. I am very satisfied with this phone.
Super Fast 4G Phone! I recommend this phone to everyone.
The first thing I would say about this phone is wow, I can change the text size to something I can read. The next thing I would say is wow the touchscreen buttons, keypads and digits are large enough that my fat finger are not opening everything but what I really want to open. This phone has very little learning curve, I really like this phone.
Updated Galaxy S II that is a good alternative to more expensive smartphones. Unlocked it can be used while traveling abroad with the purchase of sim card. Battery is removable. The bright screen is easy to read except in direct sunlight. Great apps save time and money.
Good phone. Pros: Easy to use. Great Camera. Android. Cons: Receptions a bit weak.
I loved the phone but the service was horrible. Inside my home I couldnt even make phone calls, hardly. I was not impressed with this service but I didnt know until I tried it.
