Bought a new smartphone, however my old SIM card did not fit. This kit worked perfectly with my new phone and the $30.00 plan works great for me. Called T-mobile and within 15 minutes, my new phone was up and working with my old info.
I have not found a better plan for me. $30 per month for 5GB LTE, no including streaming services. Only 100 minutes, which is more than enough for me since I never use the phone. If there is a better plan for unlimited texts, unlimited LTE, I have not found it.
On-line set up was very easy. The cost of this card is applied to your first month billing, in the form of a credit. Very good deal.
B etter than getting a line or plan directly on Tmobile. As many others, I would recommend to activate it at a Walmart store, on a TMobile stand on the store.
Already had a T-mobile account and wanted this plan. Bought this new SIM card and had no problem calling and switching SIM cards/plans. Tell the T-mobile agent you're switching to the Walmart plan, because they need the code that is included on the pamphlet in the kit. The $30 free airtime makes the cost of the kit almost negligible.
I like it a lot , worth it for 30$ . Thank you Walmart and T-mobile for create this temperary sim card for visitor and tourist. But i would like to recommend to develop the system so the buyer can activate the sim card by themselves .
I already had a $40 per month plan with T-Mobile, but wanted this SIM kit to get the $30 per month plan and save $10 per month. Activating the SIM card was easy, but needed to call T-Mobile customer service to swap to the cheaper plan. Overall, it was well worth the purchase price.
Like many others have mentioned item was not scanned by Walmart before shipping, I bought it online, so I wasn't able to activate it. But since price was right I drove to closest Walmart and after many support calls by Walmart employee was able to return card and buy a new identical card that they scanned in store. Could have saved myself time and shipping charge by going directly to Walmart to purchase card. Once it was scanned it was easy to activate and so far I'm happy with T-mobile service.
Staff were helpful in my buying the correct card as well as a "burner" for emergency purposes as well as some minutes for that card {Straight Talk}. Unfortunately, I needed the second phone because I needed to call T-Mobile to get the sim card activated. Sim Card for T-Mobile - roughly $30 Burner phone and activation card - $50 The need for the phone is that staff are unable to assist getting the T-Mobile card activated. I put the blame for this onto T-Mobile, NOT Walmart.
It is not scanned, so it does not work. I have returned it.
