I received this tasty donut kit and it's so fun to have and use. It's well made and the colors are bright it comes with piping bags, tips, whisk, bowls for mixing and more. It even has recipes included that made making our own donuts easy!
This is a really cute donut making kit. The bowl and whisk are the perfect size for kids hands. Everything in the kit is made nicely. The instructions and recipe do not match the little donut pans so I had to use an online recipe. All the tools work great and are well made. The silicone donut cups are more like mini bundt cake pans. The donuts came out of the pans easily without oils. We used a different recipe because of food allergies. The enclosed recipe does not have directions for the silicone pans. We made it work and my child was so excited, that's all that matters.
This is a great donut kit! I had fun making chocolate donuts with my daughter. She enjoyed being able to help and use her very own set! All the included items were good quality and easy for smaller hands to use. The donuts turned out perfect. They were a little taller than our traditional donut pan, but we filled them pretty full. The equipment washes up nicely too. We're definitely going to be using this set often! Highly recommended from our home!
I have a 5 year old son and I'm always looking for fun activities to do together that's fun for the both of us and this really was when it came he was so excited to make donuts we didn't even wait for the right ingredients we had strawberry muffin mix and made a little cream cheese icing and they were delicious they were more like but cake muffins but I really loved them if I had used cake or donut mix I'm sure they would be amazing too. It does come with a recipe pamphlet with some chocolate donut recipe I plan to try. These baking cups are insanely easy to clean and durable I just wish it had come with 12 rather than 6 as they are smaller than I expected about the size of a regular muffin cup. The spatula works really well for scraping the bowl and I love that it encourages baking with your child I want to buy the whole line of kid safe kits
Oh EM GEEE! My kids were all so excited (& so was I) to try this! Then I found (@WalMart) the donut cake dough box (sold separately). Great idea for baking with the kids and you can even make them in the AirFryer! Yes please!
My son and I were so excited to try this Donut kit out. It comes with everything you need to start making them. It was all really cool colors and very easy to use. Everything was pretty kid friendly. We went out and bought some donut making mix and some extra icing. We followed the directions and we over filled our molds the first time around but we did it perfectly the second time. We had rave reviews from all who tried them. Everything went right in the dishwasher when we were finished and we are currently going out to buy more mix today to make more.
My kids absolutely lovesTasty donut gadget kits!! It has everything kids need to make their donuts. Mixing bowl whisk, and spatula are perfect size for kids. The reusable piping bags and decorating tips and so much fun for kids to use and reuse. The set is a must have if you have a little baker at home. Everything is so easy to use and clean. My kids have been so busy making donuts and using different techniques to decorate them and this kit helps hem do that.
Tasty 15 Piece Kit came with so much stuff! What a great value! Mixing bowl, spatula, whisk, bags, tips, donut cups, and recipe book. Such a fun set to have a whole in home donut experience. My family loved this!
What I Like: It's a great looking kit and most of it looks well made. And there are six silicone baking cups. So there's enough cookware to make six donuts at a time. You really couldn't expect more from a home kit. What I don't like: The little spatula for the mixing bowl seems very flimsy. The handle is made out of some type of cheap plastic and I don't see it being very useful for stirring a donut mix. And there's no 'you will need this' printed on the outside of the box. You think it's a complete kit with some sample baking supplies until you get home and read the "recipe book" inside and realize that you'll need to wait until your next trip to the grocery store to actually use it. And the Limited Lifetime Warranty printed on the box is a bit of a downer also after you read it and realize that warranty repairs have to be accompanies by an eight dollar check. So, basically it's a good kit and I like it! But the packaging needs work! It should be clearly noted on the box what someone will need to make donuts with. The getting home and realizing you can't use it until you get supplies is disappointing! I haven't been able to use it yet because I don't have the ingredients here. But I have washed and inspected everything. And the only thing that looks flimsy is the mixing spatula. And that's no big deal because I can use a big spoon if it breaks. So I would recommend it. But I would also recommend to the manufacturer to upgrade their packaging!
This kit comes with everything you need to make donuts! However mine was missing the recipe book! I tried downloading the recipe book online however, it doesn't have the donut recipe in it! So that was disappointing so instead my 11 year old daughter and I just made cupcakes using the kit. The bowl and spatula and whisk are bright colors that appeal to the eye and what I really love are the reusable silicone piping bags and the silicone donut liners which we used with the cupcake batter. Overall a fun kit to do with kids!
