Good price and works great so easy to cut perfect slices with this pan. Will be recommending to all my fellow bakers.
The Tasty 9" x 5" Non-Stick Carbon Steel Loaf Pan is an easy to bake and clean pan. It made my bread perfect inside and out. I, first washed the pan with soapy warm water then conditioned it by rubbing oil all over for a day and the next day I baked my bread. I first wiped it and added fresh oil for my cinnamon butter top bread. Now the tasty pan isn't smooth like other non stick pans where they feel smooth, it was more harsh but the bread didn't stick at all. I took the pan out flipped it and the bread just slipped out. The best part is the ridges so you give out equal slices out. Then I just wiped any residue left from the oil for next time. Love it.
I know that a lot of times when I bake a loaf of wheat bread or banana bread. I end up finding some of the corners cut off, or it's kind of hacked at, rather than just sliced. This loaf pan is an easy solution for that issue. This pan includes several indentations which are baked into the bottom of the loaf of either yeast or quick breads to encourage proper slicing. Moreover, I was glad to see that this is also an excellent quality loaf baking pan. The carbon steel is pretty heavy duty. It definitely won't warp or twist while in the hot oven. It is the real deal and it bakes evenly and well every time. It's also very non-stick, too, so the bread doesn't end up coming out in chunks when I take it out of the pan after it is done baking. It cleans super easily, too. I can just wipe it off after I'm done baking and that's it. You could put it in the dishwasher but they recommend just wiping it off to keep the non-stick coating + conditioning at peak levels. This is my favorite loaf pan and my go-to for my family's favorite banana bread recipe.
I received this product from the Spark Reviewer program. This is such a great product. I bake bread all the time and this will allow me to cut even slices. Which is so nice. The pan is no stick and releases effortlessly. Absolutely love it.
This loaf pan is great! It is made of carbon steel which seems like a thicker material than what I am used to with baking pans. It is 9" x 5" with 2.5" depth. It is perfect for banana breads, and other small artisan breads if you prefer. It also has the ridges in the bottom for the nice look on the finished bread! You just flip it over and then slice along those lines! The best part is that the pan is nonstick and dishwasher safe so no need to hassle with washing it in the sink and even if you do, the particles come off very easily. We definitely recommend this loaf pan.
The ridges on the bottom that make slice lines is absolutely genius! I had my doubts that the pan would be easy to clean because of these ridges but I was wrong. The non-stick was really effective for getting everything off even in the grooves. (Don't let the picture fool you - the silly recipe I used left sugary residue on everything the batter touched, but it wiped right off with a sponge.) It's also a great size. (My other loaf pan is slightly smaller and everything would overflow or mushroom up on top.) I love this pan! The only negative feedback I have is that the adhesive that held the label on was SOOO sticky that once I pulled it off the pan, it got stuck to multiple things in my kitchen (my hand, a cookbook, and the counter) and I had to use "goo be gone" a putty knife to get it off. So peel that label off and throw it in the trash immediately after you quickly read it and memorize the use instructions! ;-)
I received this product for free from the walmart spark review program. I love making bread! It is actuallly one of my specialties during the holidays. Normally I would just buy disposables to save on doing dishes during holidays but now I have my first pan, which I plan on getting more and here is why! It is carbon steel which mean it cooks evenly! Something you do not get from disposable. It is non stick! No one wants a morphed loaf of bread. Plus, it is dishwasher safe!! Big plus! BUT the best and my most favorite feature.... The pan is shaped for cutting slices! No more uneven slices. It offers the perfect size slices. I cak not wait to buy more and would highly recommend!
This pan is amazing! Perfect size for all recipes I normally cook with a loaf pan. Great quality, non stick! Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for an amazing product!
i received this product as a member of the walmart spark reviewer program. This is a nice sturdy pan , its thick so the heating transfer seems like it would be every spread during the baking especially being that it is steel. The grooves in the bottom help for cutting the baked loaf into slices but i think that is a good but a non-game changing feature as one can easily accomplish the cuts by eyeball and a steady hand (if not this is perfect for you). I really like this pan because it doesn't really leave much residue after baking so cleaning is easier than my other baking pans. The grooves also provide more surface area which helps bake the center faster from the bottom. i think this is a great piece of kitchenware. i recommend.
This deep dish loaf pan is ideal for any avid bakers or cooks. It has easy slicing marks engraved into the pan for easy slicing. I love my new pan for making meatloaf!
