For all those who are sight impaired or just don't like sharp vegetable peelers these mitts are a pure delight. With a minimum of practice I find they perform beautifully
This product wasn't what I expected it to be. I thought all you had to do was rub the potato with the glove and the peelings would come off. No you have to boil the potatoes for five minutes then rub the peeling off. The peelings don't come off the way it shows on the television ad. I wanted to be able to take it camping with me so I wouldn't have to peel potatoes but not so.
Waste of time and good money. The little 'nodules' rub off while your trying to get the skin off your potato.....you have to boil the potato first to even get the gloves to work right. I will just do it a much simpler way.
I ordered this product because it sounded like such an awesome idea when little did I know it wasn't what I expected. Yes it pealed the potatoe but not in 8 seconds...maybe 5 minutes and then I had to go over it with a pealer because it left some spots.
The information about this product did not mention that you had to cook the product first. Totally defeats the purpose of why I purchased them. Gloves were also VERY LARGE. Difficult to work them even when cooked. Definitely would not recommend this product to anyone. Unfortunately I bought 2. Should have tried 1 first.
