Thankfully, I ordered this to get a durable pad, which it is. Strong cover and a good size for lower back or just to put on your tummy for warmth while you're sitting. At a minute and 30 seconds heat time it stays comfortably warm for close to an hour (probably because I've got it under my pants' waistband in the back and my body heat is helping). It's thin enough to wear that way and not look bulky. Unlike a lot of pads made of thin, vulnerable material that wore out or starting leaking early on, this one looks like a keeper. The "wrap" is a thin strip way too short to go around any adult's waist and the small piece of velcro is in the middle, so it doesn't function as a fastener. Might be useful for arm or ankle use, but the pad is pretty large for that. Strange, and unusable for me.
Not large enough. Does not stay frozen/cold or warm from microwave long enough.
