The band easily shifts gears from their trademark heaviness (in the '90s-era Metallica style) to a vibe that bears obvious comparisons to Alice In Chains (in their "unplugged" incarnation) and Days Of The New.There are impressive new tracks here as well: "Running Blind," "Asleep," and "Voices." Additionally, in a kind nod to original Godsmack guitarist Lee Richards, THE OTHER SIDE also features "Touche," a hint of what to expect from Richards's new band Dropbox.
