my grandson is very into thomas. he loves the case and the 5 engines. it has it's own compartment for each engine. the case is easy for him to open and close by himself. it's not too heavy for him to carry at 2 years old.
This is a Great VALUE for the Money since you dont have to hunt down Trains to give along with this ( it comes w/ 5) ~ All your Basic stores that carry this "DON'T HAVE ANY TRAINS", Just the case for almost the SAME PRICE as this one with the TRAINS!! My Grand Son Just LOVED this ...he carried it around all day long ~ Thanks so much for making shopping ONLINE that much easier for me!
Great Christmas present for my Thomas fan. This is a great buy on Walmart.com. It is double the price on other websites. It is a very nice gift for any Thomas fan.
Great way to store & keep trains together, but by the time it is full of diecast trains, its too heavy for a small child to carry. My son is 2 1/2 and could probably carry it half full by himself. He plays with it so much that I don't mind schlepping it for him and helping with the latch. His 60-year old grandpa loves it, too! I agree this was the best deal out there, I checked!
This is a wonderful find! You get 5 trains for $2 more then the one that has 0, PLUS you will pay almost $40 at Target! This is a must for any Thomas fan!
My friend's little boy loves thomas the train and loves the fact that he can take his trains when he visits me or goes to grandmas. Highly recommended.
I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves anything Thomas and after almost purchasing the travel tote WITHOUT the 5 engines included for pretty much the same price, this was an awesome deal! Great for storing engines in one place, my daughter loves to organize them etc. Definitely recommend this if you have a Thomas fan too!
This is a nice way to carry around all the trains that go with the Take Along series. Sometimes the trains are difficult to get out of their slots. Overall, good product.
I think the train tote is very attractive and fun for my almost three-year old grandson. He seemed to enjoy it when he opened it Christmas Day. The only drawback to the tote is it seems a little hard to open. I had to figure it out myself and show my grandson how to open it.
Works well enough except a 3 year old cannot unlock latch to open or lock the latch to close properly without assistance from an adult. The case, when latched properly, does keep the engines secure and is quite sturdy.
