I bought it and played with it for about 5 hours the first day. The second dy I was playing with the shifter and the wires broke off. I took it back and reorded another one. Works great on a laptop.
wheel works great but I gave it 4 stars because the wheel was so tiny and is hard for people with big hands to use,other than that it was good
We use this for the Need for Speed PS2, the wheel is very touchy and is harder to control the vehicals. My husband and I both use the hand controllers more then this product. It wouldn't be bad at all if steering wheel wasn't stiff nor touchy.
I purchased this product for my 7 year old son who is a car driving enthusiaist. It states on the advertisement and also on the box that it is "universally compatible" and is made for Wii, PSP, etc. I assumed that meant for Wii games. In fact it is not compatible for Wii games but for Nintendo Game Cube games which can be played on the Wii system. The product does not work when playing actual Wii car driving games. Don't buy it if you plan on such, but it is very fun to watch him play Game Cube games with it. You can buy the Wii steering wheels but the foot pedals were what attracted him to it. I have yet to find a wheel and pedal accessory for the Wii games. That is disappointing.
my son bought this with his own money and waited a week for it to show up. He was very excited and took it home and hooked it up, the foot pedals would not work. My husband and I both checked it and it still would not work. I had a very unhappy child and had to return it the next day. I would not recommed it.
Was very excited to get but only woked for one week before the inside tab for the shift lever broke.
The description of this product was very misleading. We bought it specifically so our children could use it on their Wii driving games. It does not work with them. The only Wii games it works with are "virtual games" that you have to download from your computer and then onto the Wii. The games we wanted to play it with were not even available to download so we returned this product 2 days later. The Challenge Wheel kind of worked with a Gamecube game (everything but the paddle shifters and the buttons on the steering wheel). We were very disappointed with this product.
