Finally, a set of silicone utensils that will get in the "corners" of a bowl! Whether it is a casserole dish, a cake pan, a mixing bowl, a stock pot or a wok...this utensil set is designed to allow you to get to flat, rounded or angled surfaces of your container. The silicone is sturdy and firm yet pliable around the edges. Nice set. (Hand wash only)
I absolutely love these utensils by Thyme & Table. They are spatulas and a basting brush included in this set. I've literally used every single piece and they all work great for all my baking and cooking needs. I love the muted colors, they match all of my other décor in my kitchen. The handles fit great in my hand and feel lightweight. I grab these utensils all the time and they've stood up to all I've thrown at them.
I love silicone utensils for baking. This set has it all and they are larger than normal so it takes less time to scrape out my bowls or baste my foods. I highly recommend this set and I love the handy ring they are on. It allows you to hang them from a cabinet handle.
These silicone utensils are great. The handles are nice thick wood so you can get a strong yet comfortable grip. The shapes make them very versatile. My favorite is the “mayonnaise spatula” which lets me get the last drop at the bottom of the jar. They are hreat for cooking things like eggs since they don’t melt from the heat and don’t scratch the teflon pan. The basting brush is ok doesn’t hold as much sauce as a traditional brush. On the flip side, I don’t see this brush wearing out and its cleans so much easier than a traditional brush. On the topic of cleaning, although these clean easy, they are not dish washer safe. I run them through the dishwasher anyway and I haven’t had any problems. The only thing that puzzles me if the mettle “D” shaped shower curtain ring they have to hold them together like measuring spoons. I doubt anyone would ever keep these together while using then and the placement of the clasp makes it almost impossible to unlatch. I tossed it once i got it open but certainly a quick way the company could reduce waste and cost. Overall a nice set of utensils.
I actually picked this up as a gift for a friend but loved it so much I actually kept it for myself and bought are a new one! The silicone is so nice to use, it mixes nicely, scrapes the bowl perfectly and cleans up easily. Plus I really love the looks of them, they are such a pretty pastel color. I actually made room for them in my countertop utensil storage container so I could show them off a bit!
This set of spatulas/utensils makes getting the last of the mayo/jam/peanut butter/etc. out of the jar, a breeze! They feel comfortable AND sturdy in the hand, wash up easily and we're really enjoy the basting brush! It's so much easier to clean than the old one we had! We just run it through the D/W and, voila! New again! Overall, this set is a great investment, cost-effective, and well-constructed. Only complaint, which isn't really a big one, is the "ring" that keeps the set together. We just don't use it. But, if someone wanted to have the set all together, I'd replace it with one of those snap-close, office-type, rings.
This five piece utensil set is pretty handy. They all have holes in the end of the handle and comes on a ring to keep them together when not in use. They are silicone with wooden handles. Only thing I could change would be to have plastic handles so I don’t have to be as cautious with them soaking in water.
First thing I noticed is the colors. They are beautiful in my kitchen! I still feel like on shape I personally like is missing from this set but that's just my personal opinion. Other than that they are great. Do not soak in water because of the handles.
They are Oka. On the first use of the pink rubber spatula the edge of it was breaking I'm assuming because of the thinness.
I can't get the metal ring that holds the set together for packaging to come apart for removal. Nice looking silicone spatula set but not practical if they have to stay on metal ring!
