I usually buy these tortillas. I had an old bag left that was almost empty. When I brought the new ones home, although it was the identical product, the bag was the same, soft taco size, etc., the new ones were about 20 percent smaller. I'm assuming like most products on the market today they're now making the product smaller but selling at the same price thinking no one would notice. I haven't bought them again.
I bought a Tia Rosa Flour Tortillas at my Walmart store and did not used them immediately. Instead, that were in my pantry for three days, When pulled them out to use for a recipe I was making, I foud that all of the tortillas where partially covered with a gray-green mold. DISGUSTING! Perhaps they were packaged while still too warm, creating condensation in the bag? I don't know. What I do know is that my pantry is a cool dry place with I seldom, if every, see mold grown on any food idea stored there. Fortunately tortillas are not costly. So, I was not out a significant expense. However, you can bet that I WON'T be buying any more Tia Rosa tortillas when there are PLENTY of others to chose from.
