[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to use and works fast! I love having a product I can use with ease myself. Simple and effective, I will definitely repurchase. I recommend to all home owners like myself, being close to this Creek I am always on high alert with mice and rodents and compared to other traps, these work best in my opinion.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually get a mouse or two during the winter months. I normally buy the cheap wooden ones but they usually have to be tweaked before they work right. I wanted something that actually worked good out of the package. These traps were very sensitive and easily set off. The first night using it I had caught two mice and then one more the next night. It is super easy to reset and get rid of the dead mice. I highly recommend these over any traps that I have ever used.
I bought several different traps..the sticky pads & the wooden snap traps an NOTHING caught those stupid little mice. He'd eat the peanut butter get stuck for a minute and I'd hear him fighting the trap then he'd run away. I bought this snap trap which is super simple to use,i put peanut butter in it and set it between the fridge an stove. The nex morning the little mouse was dead inside it..woo hoo! Quick an easy. I've used the trap twice now about 1yr apart an each time the very next morning the mouse was dead.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a sturdy mouse trap. I love that I don't have to come nowhere near the rat/mouse. I usually add a piece of cheese or peanut butter and it attracts the mice. They have no chance with these mouse traps. They're very easy to use and there's even a gel you can purchase to put on it. Very Esaú to use and so convenient. Easy to discard and lightweight.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted this product and I am so excited to receive it. This item works very well and is safe to use around children and pet's. It doesn't require any bait but an attractant gel can be used. The snap closure make it easy for safe disposal. This product is reusable and very sanitary. I definitely will recommend this item.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the chance to try the Tomcat Mouse Snap Trap and it has the perfect name because it snaps at the drop of a hat!! Even when setting it, you have to hold it tight to keep it from snapping. It is the easiest mouse trap I have ever set up. You just pinch the ends open and it is set. The company recommends using this trap with their Tomcat Attractant to attract mice. I might have to give it a try because we have one big mouse that we have yet to catch for weeks now. I have put cheese and peanut butter in this trap and have yet to catch it. Maybe the attractant gel will. I have placed the trap in the mouse's runway with the teeth of the trap facing the wall as directed. I am hoping soon we will finally get this mouse!! But until then, I am very pleased at how simple it is to set and use. If and when I finally catch this mouse, it will be simple to dispose of it by just pinching the trap open and dropping it out into the trash. I highly recommend this mouse trap for anyone wanting an easy set up mouse trap to use!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a few mice issues, mostly when the weather starts getting cold. I got these Tomcat snap traps in the 2 pack size to try to help catch the nasty rodents. Tomcat also sells an attractant gel that you can use for bait. These traps are easy to set up and I usually use peanut butter as bait. So far, I haven't gotten any of the nasty mice and these two traps are still set up after several days. The mice managed to steal the bait and get away with it! These traps are easy to set up and the benefit of being able to release the dead mice without touching them is great, if you manage to catch any! I think the mice I see are too smart for these traps! I buy the Tomcat glue boards and while I hate the rodents suffering until they die, I seem to have better luck getting the mice with those, rather that with these traps. I think other people might have better luck with these Tomcat snap traps than I did, so I do recommend you try them, especially if you have dumb mice instead of smart ones! I do recommend these Tomcat Snap Traps because the other type of Tomcat Quick kill traps have worked well for getting the mice in the past, along with their glue boards. I trust the Tomcat brand, so while I'm not a big fan of these type of snap traps, I do find that the other types of mice products by them work better.
I bought four of these traps and set them up in an area with evidence of heavy mouse activity. Imagine my disappointment when two of them didn't even spring after multiple attempts--despite the fact that the bait had been partially or completely eaten. This morning I woke up and found mouse droppings INSIDE one of the unsprung traps (see exhibit A below). As far as I'm concerned, these only provide a safe, cozy little cafe where the mice can eat a free dinner. Fifty percent performance rate? That's a failing score, Tomcat.
Sadly, this tiny mouse ate the peanut butter clean off BOTH Snap Traps two nights in a row. Apparently I need to try something else. Our cat has helped us chase it under furniture. Then we bait the traps with a dab of sticky peanut butter and place them there. The next morning, food is gone, so is the mouse.
The rat had its whole body on top of this trap! Grr
