Windows 8 operating system is a big adjustment to make and will take time to get adjusted to. I am sure I will grow to like it.

We purchased this laptop for my daughter for Christmas, we wanted one that would help her in her career choice and for the price this one will be a good starter. With it's features, good memory which is expandable, and large hard drive, and the DVD burner; I think she will be well on her way with this one!
was a little leary because it has windows 8 but laptop is fast and very easy to use. Wish price was a little lower but needed new laptop that had a fast processor and alot of memory. This is a great buy

Love the new operating system though I was sketchy about it at first. Have had problems with the keys always working. Skips a lot of letters when I am typing. As a student, this can become very frustrating. Other than that I love the system and the apps. You can mainly tell that the system was made with a tablet in mind though.
Windows 8 is terrible. I love the computer though....very fast and filled with features!
The computer includes Windows 8 which is more geared to tablets or touch screen computers than to a standard notebook. However, I downloaded a program called Start8 which sets the computer up much like a Windows 7 system while retaining the Windows 8 operating system. Overall the computer is very well made, has a nice touch to the keyboard and many features such as a web cam with built in microphone. Although I have had this computer about two weeks, I have put it through its paces and am quite pleased with it.
The computer was purchased through Walmart.com. After my son used it for about three hours the mouse locked up. I had him turn it off for an hour. I got on it after that and the mouse locked up after I was on it for 5 minutes. I put it back in the box and returned it to the local Wal-Mart.
