This is the best protein shake I've ever had, my 6th tub. I was hesitant to buy protein shakes but the vegan brand and its health benefits really has helped me drink more water. When I skip breakfast and just go with the shake in the morning, it makes me feel good that I'm still my nutrients and most importantly tastes amazing! Thank you GNC!
I'm lactose intolerant and recovering from IBS, so any dairy/ whey protein powders are out. I wanted to use protein shakes as a meal replacement so I originally tried the Vega brand chocolate protein powder and it was disgusting! Tasted like brocolli covered in chocolate. I was leery about the GNC Lean Shake Green but since it was "buy one, get one 50%" I figured I'd give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised! Turns out it's DELICIOUS! Nice strong chocolatey flavor, no hint of vegetables whatsoever, sweet but not sickeningly so. It is frothy (I know others disliked it) which I enjoyed. I thought it made it like a thick milkshake to me. Plus, it didn't sort-of any of my digestive issues. It is a bit tricky to blend. I used a shaker bottle but next time I would put the liquid in first, then the powder or use a blender. I have a picky palate (that healthy things should taste good) as well as a picky stomach. This one is a winner in my book! I can't wait to have another shake!
As a breastfeeding Mom, I've wanted to ensure the best quality breastmilk for my baby and therefore the best possible diet for myself. I did a lot of research and learned the optimum levels of everything for me to in turn make sure baby is getting optimum levels of everything. This shake helps me reach my 75 grams of lean and complete protein every day as well as many vitamins and minerals without artificial sweeteners, dairy and other unwanted stuff. It's easy, delicious and outperforms every other meal replacement I looked at.
What a surprise, I am not vegan anything! However I am allergic to milk so I found this was the best answer. Are use my Neutra bullet : add almond milk, cinnamon, walnuts, frozen strawberries and Blend for 30 seconds.It comes out very smooth and gets me off to a great morning start!
I have never tried a meal replacement drink before. As someone who eats mostly vegan foods, I wanted to be sure I was maximizing my nutrition (though, there was nothing specific I was worried about possibly missing). I also thought this would make packing lunches for the workday less of a production. I have noticed big improvements: less hunger for junk food (almost never); less stiffness in the morning, quicker muscle healing when I get sore and/or workout; less/no bloating at the end of the day; added benefit I have lost a couple pounds. I love this and my husband was skeptical but now he loves it too. I just hope it's not going away since they are out of stock at the moment.
This is the best vegan meal replacement I could find personally. It has an adequate protein level, with relatively low calories, and essential nutrition. It is a bit chalkier than the whey version of Lean Shake 25, but you can compensate for it by blending it with fruit or thicker liquids.
I've drank it everyday for a month and this has been a great meal replacement for breakfast. I blend one scoop of Vanilla with 8 oz hot coffee and shake well. It does get very frothy. I pour in a coffee cup and pretend it's a latte from Starbucks! It's worked well to keep me satisfied.
I'm a 5'5 male at 40yrs. I started focusing on health after new years 2020. I started with slimvance + diet detox + lean shake green. Initially food cravings were rough but started with lean shake green it helped cut that out. Only side effect I've notice over past couple months its increase the amount of gas. Overall, I went from 200 pounds to 150 from January to June. This product has helped a lot from a meal replacement in the AM and Lunch.
Flavor is actually good if put in just a shaker. But to mix it up add frozen fruit. I usually use oatmilk but I have to cut it with water because this shake gets pretty thick! Does have a mild gritty texture but it doesn't bother me. Hardly noticeable if blended with some ice
I bought this today and am returning it tomorrow! The texture is chunky and the flavor is not good. I got Natural Vanilla flavor and it tastes like every vegetable shown on the label except for vanilla. I tried it with fruits and nothing can conceal the horrible flavor.
