I am still learning all the bells and whistles on the phone. My son recommended it and he has helped me tremendously in setting it up. We are still not through.
Great phone I got it to replace an LG. Screen is a little smaller but it works much faster and smoother. Will continue with Samsung. After the spontaneous blow ups are over!!
This purchase was an upgrade from an earlier Samsung model phone. The S5 is slightly larger, so the screen is obviously bigger to see more of any application you are using. The OS on this model is a newer version that on our old phones, so there is some adjusting to a few things that we didn't experience before. Overall, having just had the phone for a few weeks, I am very happy with it so far.
works great, does all that is advertised. able to use blue tooth for my hearing aids can increase size of letters to make ease of seeing
I needed a phone that could handle multiple apps and work fast and this fit the bill .Has a great camera also. Thanks Waly World
Phone is great as is Total Wireless--which uses Verizon as the carrier! and the rate is lower than any Verizon offer with NO contract ! Love it--easy startup and auto monthly renewal at even a lower rate!!!
This phone does what I need it to do and does it quickly. I use it to play music and games. I also put a Japanese dictionary on it and it works well.
I love this phone. Its got a good amount of storage which is why I upgraded from an LG phone. The speed is fast. The camera is great.
It's one of the better phones I had. At least it's not as easy to hit the volume button while you hold it. When you hold it the on and off button is not quite as easy 2push so you don't mess up and turn it off in the middle of texting
I purchased 2 of these from Walmart for an established four line phone plan as an upgrade. Two of these lines, we upgraded to the BYOP plan by purchasing sim cards from Walmart for unlocked phones from Groupon which worked perfectly by receiving 4G LTE the week prior. These phones from Walmart showed "LTE" when first activated and then after 30 seconds displayed 3G. We were on vacation at the time and never had 4G. My daughters' phones from Groupon were 4G almost the entire time. I called customer service the first day and they supposedly "reactivated" the phones on the 4G but after restarting the phone, the problem persisted. On day two, I called customer service again and was on hold for longer than day one at 35 minutes. They also said I was "upgraded" to 4G LTE and told to dial *22890 again for activation. I was prompted to restart the phone again and it displayed "LTE" not 4G LTE mind you) for 30 seconds again and displayed 3G again. I still had cust service on the phone (my daughter's phone) and he told me to just "ignore the 3G as I am 4G". I stewed overnight about this and thought about spending over $700 for two phones that were no better than the Pop Icon and the LG Power I already have on the account. I called again the next morning and explained my problem (for the 3rd time) and she stated I don't have 4G in my area (I was home at this point). I was previously with Verizon for 2 years and my contract expired and I jumped at the fact of getting the service for a fraction of what I was paying and went with Total Wireless. I was well aware there was and is 4G in my area. Also, my daughters' phones have 4g on the same plan (from Groupon, remember?). She told me if I wasn't happy with the service, to return it to Walmart. I did. Before doing so, I did reactivate my old phones. Upon later online investigation, I discovered this is a typical problem with Samsung Galaxy S5s with it being a "hardware" issue. Just do your research before buying this phone. Keep all packaging and instructions for returns as well as the receipt. I'm still happy with Total Wireless service because with it I save over $150 a month on this plan. I get my plan of $100 plus taxes minus 5% discount for auto-renewal from my checking account, which comes to just under $105 a month TOTAL for 4 lines with unlimited talk, text, and 15GB data to share. I'll never leave if I don't have to. It just made me mad I paid so much money out for new phones for them to not work properly. Total Wireless still rocks!
