I bought this phone as an emergency back up when I drive in rural areas. My primary phone is weak in these areas. I wanted an emergency phone which worked on CDMA and the Verizon Network, was inexpensive to purchase and to operate. I did not need internet, only phone and text. I am thoroughly satisfied with the phone for this purpose. It took some investigation, however, to find a CDMA Tracfone. There is a GSM version of this same phone which is sold in store at Walmart. However the GSM version works on AT&T and T-Mobile, both weak in rural areas.
I have owned one of these now for several years, and it has more than met my purposes. Amazing phone.....not a smartphone, but much, much more than a simple cell phone. Although it has many functions, like long distance and international calling, photo capability, calendar, calculator, games, etc., I use it primarily for text messaging, which it does very well. I bought this one for my husband to use. Set-up was even easier this time than when I bought mine, several years ago. We have children and grandchildren who live very far from us, so the texting keeps us within our budget and our children are right there anytime we need to talk. And of course each time I buy minutes for this phone, there are extra minutes include for the life of the phone. It's all I need in a phone!
Once again a fine "C" series Tracfone that utilizes Verizon coverage (thus the "C" suffix). This is a product that serves my needs well, a cellphone that behaves as mobile phone. That's all I need. I've very little use for a pocket amusement center. Admittedly, this phone does have a camera and other java-based bells and whistles, but they don't get in the way of using it as a mobile phone. Perfect for those of you born before 1950. And as always is my experience, the Walmart ship to store pickup worked flawlessly. I'm a well pleased senior.
I bought this phone for someone else and they didn't like the touch screen. However I had one of these and it worked just fine. It is very easy to use.
I received this from TracFone as an upgrade from the 2G system to the newer 3G. I use this for texting my kids and calling home if I am out shopping, this phone paired very quickly with my OnStar service for hands free when driving. Overall I think this is the best value, the carry over minutes with a years service saves a lot of money that no other phone and service can provide And the camera works great.
This LG 305C works great. It has an easy to read display, good sound, and works well overall. Value for the money can't be beat! Note: If you order this for Pickup @ Walmart, the important seller activation scan takes place sometime before it is shipped to the store (so it's already taken care of). To avoid embarrassing theft beeping at the store exit door, you may want to check with Pickup counter clerk to be sure they disable the anti-theft packaging feature before you leave the counter.
Bought this for my daughter for her first phone, she loves it. Have had no issues with it. But that phone can definitely take a beating. I think she drops it at least once an hour, and there isn't even a single scratch on it. All in all great purchase.
I got this phone to replace an old "flip" phone. I only use it as an emergency phone in my SUV and do not need a "smart" phone with a contract. At this price I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this phone is. The touchscreen is nice and numbers are very easy to read and nicely responsive. The battery is user replaceable. The camera is low res (2 mp) so I don't expect to use it much. Audio is clear and the phones small size allows it to fit in your pocket easily. Because of its unique size, the only case I could find was for a digital camera ($5) at Walmart), which is ok, but it would have been nice to include a custom case for a little extra cost. All in all, I am pleased with this phone so far. TracFone service is great and for $100 a year I am happy. Thanks for the great value Walmart.
Decent as long as you're not expecting an android or iPhone device. This is just a spare phone for emergencies, not an everyday phone. Better than the dreaded flip phone.
MY SON GOT THIS PHONE BECAUSE IT SAID, IT HAD TRIPLE THE MINUTES. IT TOOK 2 DAYS TO "FINALLY" GET IT SET UP(. 6 HOURS AND 12 MIN. )REALLY! THEN , HE PUT THE 120 MIN. CARD ON. THE PHONE SAID, TRIPLE THE MIN. HE GOT 120 MIN. THEN, IT WAS ANOTHER 2 HOURS TO FINALLY GET THEM TO SET IT FOR 360. I DREAD WHEN HE PUTS ANOTHER CARD ON. I WANTED TO USE IT FOR TARGET PRAC. UNLESS YOU HAVE NOTHING TO DO . BUT WORK WITH THIS PHONE DON'T GET IT. HAVE A GOOD DAY
