This one is the best one I have tried. Long lasting flavor, keeps me from eating bad stuff. I am on a low carb diet so this one is great with only 1g of carbs per stick.
I have been using Trident for more than 10 years. I love the flavor.
I have been buying this trident tropical twist sugarless gum for years now. It has a wonderful orange flavor. It also has xylitol and I read that this actually helps prevent cavities. The flavor lasts a long time too. This is the only gum I ever buy.
Great Taste and low price make this a great value.
I confess: I have lived as a consistent chewing gum addict for the last five years. I've analyzed all brands and all flavors of every gum available...Orbit, Extra, Wrigley's, React, Ice Breakers, Spry, Dentyne... The Trident Tropical Twist is hands down my absolute favorite! At WalMart, the price is right on!
I really enjoyed the flavor of this product. So did my 5 y/o granddaughter. My only complaint is that the flavor doesn't last long at all.
Taste stays with gum a long time.
I was expecting More from this gum since it's made by a Good Brand Name - Trident, but I was disappointed. The Flavor is more like simple ' Orange ' than ' Tropical ' at all like it's Name - ' Tropical Twist '. So the Flavor was disappointing. Plus the Flavor was VERY Short-Lived. It was literally only after beginning to chew it, that just a few Brief moments later the Flavor was GONE ! I will NOT be buying ANY More of this Flavor of Trident in the Future. PLUS, I will think twice before buying ANY Trident sugar-free gum again.
The flavor and long-lasting power are good on both the Tropical Twist and Mint Bliss, but there is simply too much artificial sweetener in these. As a person who generally avoids artificial sweeteners, I bought these for the xylitol to help strengthen my teeth (per my dentist). But I definitely will NOT get these again and have already given the extra packs away. Would not recommend to someone who generally does not consume artificial sweeteners.
The main ingredient in this - xylitol - is known to cause digestive issues like gas, bloating and diarrhea. Not sure why the FDA would even approve this. Within ten minutes of chewing the first piece I was in agony, my stomach had expanded so quickly and entirely too much. Upon a simple google search, the preceding information turned up. I'll be chewing regular gum & using mouthwash from here on out.
