Great shovels- very durable. Quick shipping and can't beat the price! #sweepstakes [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I love this shovel. The leverage the grips provide help a lot. Most of the time I can just push the snow to where I want it, and it does this much better than the standard shovel I was using. Last week we got a much heavier amount, and the berm caused by the plow was a real pain. I would grab a big bite, and then just drag it down the road a bit to where the berm wasn't so high, then toss it over. Ihe shovel's light weight helps!
This is the second shovel we've purchased from Sams and it works great! Just push the snow to the edge of the drive and you don't have to pickup any snow. Clears large sections quickly and is very well made.
Love this snow shovel. Great balance, leverage, and size. Especially nice for pushing snow up to 3-4 inches deep. Shovels well too due to it's ergonomic design.
Best Shovel I have ever used. Gets the job done fast and is a combination of a shovel and snow scoop !
GREAT shovel for clearing snow - driveway or sidewalk - this is my second purchase of this product [guess someone needed 1st more than me, smh] Picked one up a couple of weeks prior to last night's snowfall. Snap to assemble and backsaver to use. Although did locate a $34.98 price elsewhere
I like it,because not heavy
Nice shovel, easy on yr back. Prices good.
So far it has been great, not a flake of snow since the snow blower threw a rod through the side of the engine.
The metal edge blade is fastened to the plastic shovel with rivets. For most people snow is being removed from either a concrete surface or blacktop. The concrete or blacktop will grind off the pop rivets and the metal edge will fall off. Of course the remaining plastic edge will not last long either. There is a printed sticker placed on the back of the shovel stating not to used shovel on abrasive surface like concrete or blacktop. Where else do people shovel snow? On a frozen lake? So the manufacture knows the problem with this design. But they can say you have been forewarned. The handle design is pretty good. If the snow is wet and heavy be careful not to overload the shovel. You could injure yourself. The design also enables the user to push the snow rather than lift and toss. Depending on amount of use, shovel may last one or two seasons.
