I saw these on the shelf, and had to give them a try. I'm very glad I did! They taste like candy and have a very pleasant texture - gone are the days of chalky compressed-powder tablets! These are very good, and seem to be just as effective! The resealable bag has proven helpful for carrying with me to work. Would definitely recommend this product to a friend!!
Tums Chewy Delights are Amazing! It work's super fast and tastes great! And the texture is incredibly soft and creamy. Individually wrapped, so take a few on the go! Convenient! It is so nice to be able to fight heartburn without having to grind your pill down and have those white flags in the corners of your mouth. I am not surprised that Tums were first in making a soft chew that tastes good and works so well. Get some of these as quick as you can!
The Chewy product is great - my daughter loves the chewy, non-gritty texture and it provides quick, effective relief in a very convenient form. Because it resembles a treat, no one around her knows she is having a "irritation moment". Sorry to see that the fruit flavor has been discontinued - cherry is not her favorite taste and neither is peppermint. Please reconsider your flavors selection.
I got a sample of these in the mail and i took it each time i got heartburn and the first thing i noticed is that it taste like bubblelious gum if you've ever had that gum but anyway it was a very good taste compared to other chewable antacids and it worked right away and lasted longer then other ones
Before when I had heartburn I would have the devil on one shoulder and the angel on the other arguing. Did I want to live with the heartburn, or did I want to gag down a couple of tablets that tasted like chalk. Tums Chewy Delights have saved the arguing! They taste great. The only thing I could ask to be better would be for a full dose in one square. Unwrapping three of those little squares is my only annoyance. Thank you to whomever decided chalk really doesn't taste good and invented the chewy delights!
They arent bad, they do seem to kill the heartburn fast, the taste leaves much to be desired however, and also after just a couple of hours after using the chewy ones my heartburn seems to return with a vengance, Unlike the original TUMS or smoothies, which will kill it for the day. So while its ok, I think I will be sticking with the table form of this product from now on!
You should try getting one of these things out of the wrapper when you are wide awake in the middle of the day - very difficult! Try unwrapping one of these lumps in the dark, in the middle of the night when you wake up with five alarm heart burn. Fagedaboudit. Never again. I'm sticking with store brand chalky lumps for fast, fast, fast relief rather than advertising hype.
I bought a package of the new tums and they are the worst. I hate the flavor and the package is too hard to open. I will stick to the quick dissolve type. If a person was so inclined you could take ten of the quick dissolve by the time you opened one of the chewy kind. Then the favor is terrible once you do get it open. You should let everyone who bought these things take them back to a store for a full refund.
These do a good job of killing my heartburn fast, but it doesn't keep it at bay for long at all. The taste is ok, but the after taste is horrible. I will never buy this product again. I'm not usually a Tums customer, but I saw these and decided to try them. I was reminded why I'm not a Tums customer.
