I have heavily used this headset for about a year with minimum problems, mine just happened to have a rare hardware problem. After I called up turtle beach elite customer service (which is very professional and a top of the line service) gave me a brand new one within a week. The only downfall to it is if you are a sweaty try hard the ear pads will get hot as with all leather pads. it is worth the money and be SURE TO GET THE EXTENDED WARRANTY as it will last for years to come.
I love the features, sound quality and superhuman earring mode! worth every penny!
I bought this headset for my bday and is amazing. I been looking around for a good one and this one meet and exceeds my expectations.
they work great but after a few hours of playing your ears get Start to hurt. I have a small head and they are small on my head.

The Elite 800 is a solid purchase I would recommend for everyone. It has great sound, feels very solid and the charging station is very useful. It has multiple settings to suit any type of feedback be it a movie, music or videogames. It is not perfect though, the twistable joints can snap if you are not careful (this is my 2nd Elite 800 :/ ) and the buttons are rather sensitive and numerous. The slightest touch will set them off and there are multiple buttons each with their own settings. This can take a bit of getting used too. I also found that at times I would need to pair the headset to the station multiple times before it would work otherwise the sound would be al scratchy. This can be a tad irritating at times. Overall a solid product with just several shortcomings.
