Makes the bet marinara sauce
I have used this product for many years and every one loves my pasta sauce. thank you.
I dont use anything but this! I'm ITALIAN and my Nonna ( Grandmother in Italian) only used this brand! Much more favor than other brands!
Tomato and citric acid the only ingredient
This is the best brand to make sauce with. It never tastes sour or metallic like a can. Just tastes like fresh tomatoes. Im glad to have these.
This is the best brand of canned, whole tomatoes that you can buy for the price. The best thing about this brand is that it doesn't contain basil leaf, which is present in most other brands. If I want basil in my recipe, then the other brands would be fine, but many of my recipes (I use whole tomatoes for many other things besides pasta sauce) don't contain basil. This brand also doesn't seem to use too much calcium chloride (used to make tomatoes firm) so they break down really well in sauces/soups/stews. I absolutely love this brand!
Received a poorly packed box very late full of dented cans. Totally cancelling Walmart!
Why does it always say things are in stock when they aren't? I drove many miles and of course, nothing there.
I'm not sure exactly what happened to my good old tomato's ! But they had a tin taste this time that was horrible my gravy was trash!!! Mom would be crying…not even sugar would help!
After squeezing out all the water and only weighing the tomatoes in the 28 Ounce can of Tutorosso Peeled Tomatoes in Water, the weight of the tomatoes in the can was: 5.8 ounces!! 22.2 ounces of water!!??!! These peeled tomatoes on water are the equivalent of 2 plum tomatoes. The cost should be .30 cents at most for a 28 Ounce can. What a scam! ALL canned peeled tomato company sellers should have the 28 Ounce as GROSS weight, and then be required to put the tomato NET weight on the can.
