I bought this phone for my 16 year old daughter to use while at work or out doing after school activities and it meets all her needs. She can't stay off it :) I checked on how much it cost me using my plan and compared it to the cost of the US Cellular prepaid cell phone and U prepaid $40.00 Card and it cost less for me to get the prepaid phone and card. After I get the prepaid phone, it is fairly simple to set up service when i purchased the prepaid card of $40.00, it allows you to have unlimited access for the month to text, talk and web. My phone i got though the plan office only allows me unlimited text and I have to use minutes if I talk before 7 pm weekdays . I would recommend this to all my friends and acquaintances including any one who is interested in buying this product. The U company provides 24/7 help and set up. I love the phone and plan and plan on buying another one for myself.
I bought this card because I had a us cellular phone. Turned out, I could not use my phone for this card. So then I bought the walmart phone for fifty extra dollars. I was supposed to get 25 days of use at 2.00 per day. I used it 10 days until all of a sudden, it is cut off. For inconvenience sake, all my calls are routed first to us cellular (who can't help me) and then re-rerouted to India (where their system is conveniently down). I am severely peaved. For 100 dollars I should be able to use the dumb phone more than ten days. Of course it was supposed to be for back up business use-and I never had any issues with a trac phone.
