A relative had a check lost in the mail that was apparently washed and rewritten by someone. It took months to recover the money from the bank. These pens are waterproof and prevent such theft. I ordered an entire pack and use them for any checks I now write.
I HAVE BEEN USING THIS EXACT SAME PEN FOR 20 TO 30 YEARS. INK ROLLER NOT TOO BIG OR SMALL. HOPE THEY KEEP MAKING THEM AND NOT TRY TO NEW AND INPROVE THEM
I LOVE these pens! They're nice and dark and glide across the paper for a smooth wring experience. I write a lot, so a GOOD PEN is important! Plus, a good value! Just a little over a dollar per pen!

The very nicest pen you can buy, beautiful, writes smooth fine line, and good price. I ordered pack of 4 to try and love them, so I am buying many more packs to have on hand in case Walmart ever stops selling them. These pens are my favorite for my sketchbook/journal/art work...and I have mentioned this on Facebook recently.. your price is the best and you service is also.
In my opinion, Uni-ball Vision Elite pens are as nice a pen as you can get short of buying those luxury fountain pens that you still occasionally see on lawyer or business executives' desks. These colored versions are no exception. They write very smoothly, leave a good line, and the ink dries almost instantly (no smearing ink for this left-hander!). Also, you can't see it in the product photo, but the plastic part of the pen tip is made the color of the ink - a very nice touch. Can't really call it a negative (so I'm keeping a 5-star rating), but the pen you think is the pink-colored is actually magenta (it's easy to tell the difference. Also, the navy-blue one is so dark it's almost impossible to distinguish from standard black. So, if you still like to write things down with pen and paper and want some color in your ink aside from boring black, these are the pens for you.

These pens are actually a medium point and not a fine point. That is great for me because I prefer the medium lines but if you are looking for a true fine point pen these will not work for you. I did not give a five star because of the range of the colors available. The two blue pens are very similar in shade and although the image of the pink is a bright pink it is really dark and quite close to the red. The package I received was a blue one and not yellow..so I am not sure if the pen color varies with that. In the picture attached you can see the colors in order where I wrote the word pen for comparison: -orange -red -pink -dark blue -light blue -green -purple -black All things considered these are a great buy for a college student like me...just remember they are NOT fine point.
These were not what I expected. I have to push harder than I am comfortable writing or else they skip spots, but that's just me. I also seem to have to write on a flat (not a tilted) surface or they begin to skip. I am not used to writing with a roller ball pen, so these things may not be a problem for others, but they are a BIG problem for me. I won't get roller balls again. I am studying and taking notes, sometimes in odd positions, so I need something that will write in various positions, like maybe a pencil! LOL
