I've had acne since I was a teenager and I have never been able to use anything other than Cetaphil just to get a clean face. I decided to give St. Ives green tea a try because I've heard green tea is awesome for skin. It has never irritated my face, and has never made any of my acne worse-but WAY better! I have super sensitive, oily, and at times, dry skin, and this product is amazing! I also didn't get it for the redness reducing factor, but it has made quite the difference!
I've tried Clean and Clear face wash, clearisil face pads, st ives apricot scrub, Shiseido 3 step face wash, and Clinique 3 step face wash. It was 2 weeks ago that I finally switched to st ives green tea scrub. I think this was the ONLY face wash to ever work on my face. I could see a difference after 1-2 days. Before I used the green tea face wash, I would always get one or two pimples once every other day with the face washes above. Yes. Even with the st ives apricot one. I don't think I've seen my face this clear since last year! I highly recommend that you try this face wash! :)
I am in love with the Green Tea scrub! They recently stopped carrying it at the store I shop at, so I have to get it from the drug store now. Totally worth the extra trip! It leaves my skin fresh and super clean! I love that it's oil free, because facewash w/ oil just feels like I'm adding something to my skin instead of cleansing it! Love, Love, Lovvee!
I have suffered from moderate acne for 6 years now and have tried everything from proactive to murad to skin id and none of them have worked. I decided to try the naturally clear green tea scrub after I read all the awesome reviews on it. I am completely amazed by the results! I WAS ACNE FREE IN ONE WEEK!!!!! My skin has never looked or felt better. I was a little worried it would be too harsh and dry out my skin, but it's sooo gentle and leaves my skin feeling clean and soft. I am totally in love with this product and absolutely recommend it!
This product is absolutely amazing! I have tried countless facial products. I have very sensitive skin. When I try new facial products I usually brek out. But this was different, I did not break out at all. I also have redness on my cheeks and this product helps with that too. I love how this makes your face feel incredibly soft, and does not make it oily. It help cleared away my breakouts and I am now a huge fan of this scrub!
I've used the apricot scrub for years and decided to try something new when I saw the green tea scrub. It has done wonders for my dry skin and has helped reduce breakouts significantly. I love the light scent and gentle exfoliation. My skin looks and feels clear and healthy. I would highly recommend this product to friends and family.
Never have I ever taken the time to review a product ... EVER! This product by St. Ives is SOO amazing that I took the time to sign up for one of these accunts to write a review letting everyone know how outstanding this facial scrub is. I have tried EVERYTHING to get my skin to where it is. I have normal skin, which is moisturize every day but I had some scaring from popping zits. I also suffered from frequent breakouts, nothing really major butthe occaisional few pimples, but they were just really annoying and once I got rid of them, I thought "oh my skin looks pretty good" but then I'd just break out again. I tried a number of clean and clear, neutrogena, target brand products, then finally st ives apricot scrub. That one was okay, but it didn't do what this green tea product does! At first, there wasn't any typ of change in my skin. In fact, I think it got a bit worse before it got better. That was the green tea getting everything that was burried under my skin out. Now, I have not had any pimples since. Even when my its that time of the month for me, typically I break out, but this time, nothing! Maybe just one pimple a month, not even!! Its like magic. The scars on my face have visbly reduced in darkness and they are almost gone! I have never been happier with a product in all my life and I will mostdefinitely be buying more once this tube runs out. Also, despite the smallness of the tube, a little goes a long way! I have had mine for a few months now, and I am hardly half way through the bottle! Its a great price and well worth trying! I reccommnd this to EVERYONE! Please try it , you'll be so happy!!! :)
i have used it two ways. 1.) washed my face with it, which really helped with my blackheads and 2.) left it on in globs like a face mask. As soon as i wipe it off after I had left it on my face for about 10 minutes or so, the 2 HUGE pimples on my forehead, were GONE! you couldn't see them at all. i do this every day now. LOVE IT
Yes, this does reduce redness and helps acne but i hate how u have to scrub to get all of it off. Not to mention i see white stuff on my skin and have to go back and take it off. This(and something else i use of st ives) makes my acne go away but it doesnt prevent it. I still have acne but its not too noticeable.
The "Naturally Clear Green Tea Scrub" is suppose to clear/reduce your acne as it has active Salicylic acid. It hasn't done much for me despite 3 weeks of usage. It doesn't make my skin feel any softer either. It is mild on the skin though. The regular "Naturally Clear BLEMISH & BLACKHEAD CONTROL APRICOT SCRUB" instead seems to be delivering what it has promised. It has reduced the acne and makes my skin feel very soft after every usage. I tried the Green Tea Scrub after trying this out in the hopes that it would be even better. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. :(. Would recommend the apricot scrub instead.
