The boxes arrived flat, as expected, but also in one full piece. In other words, the lids were attached to the boxes and had to be separated. There are perforated lines to separate them, so it's not bad, just different. Also, it only took one box to really figure it out and get into a 'stride' to get them all folded quickly and efficiently. I use them to pack glass and other items back and forth for moving them. They have held up very well, except when *someone* didn't put a lid back on and it got a bit squished. Even then, the lid still works fairly well.
love these boxes, used them to pack up old stuff, move stuff to other rooms, have resed these boxes several times to help move my niece, heck even my cats like the boxes to hide in.
