This movie is a classic. So very glad to have my copy of it.
I couldn't find this movie ANYWHERE, until Walmart.com, and I LOVE IT! Ordering it was super easy, took kinda long for delivery (but I think it was due to my excitement level) and pick up couldn't have been easier. I will definetly order online again for store pick up.
I bought this movie to share with my kids movies from when I grew up They love it as much as I did back in the 80's
i have always loved this movie. haven't seen it for many years & decided to buy it. has many elements to it. caring for your neighbors, the sadness of growing old with dementia, and when people rally together they can make changes. oh, can't forget the magical elements of the "little helpers". really enjoyable movie for all age groups.
My husband and I love this movie due to the actors, the cuteness of the little flying saucers, and more.
I absolutely love this movie and I'm so happy to own it. Can't wait to share it with the next generation.
I am slightly disappointed that while watching the movie, there were 4 places in the video that it would skip. So I backed up each of those scenes, and it skipped again at each of those spots. Other wise I still enjoyed such a wonderful movie.
Batteries Not Included is a quaint movie we all remember from the '80s. Cute story, nicely acted, lots of heart. The DVD is anamorphic widescreen, which is a big help if you have a 16x9 TV. The DVD doesn't have any deleted scenes, just the theatrical trailer and written biographies on the actors. All in all, it's worth getting.
For a seemingly pretty silly movie, there are lots and lots of underlying messages. Humanity was displayed at it's best and worse. And "best" won! Everyone should see it.
Although this movie is rated PG, at the time it was made they allowed some foul words to be used in the movie - even under the PG rating. It is a cute movie, but unless they have dubbed over the foul words, you may not wish to get this for your kids.
