Great lightweight travel - perfect for traveling

I received a Walmart gift card to purchase an Urbini stroller in order to facilitate this review and all opinions are my own. This Hummingbird Stroller is just what I was looking for. We have had a very simple, small umbrella stroller in the past and the handle was too short for my husband and the stroller it self just didn't work for a 3 year old. The Hummingbird Stroller fixes this issue! The height of the stroller is great - perfect height for both my husband and I - allowing us to walk comfortably while pushing and my daughter fits in the stroller well. When I first received this item (quickly!), my first reaction out of the box was - GOOD, it's already put together for me! It was nice not to have to put 20 pieces together before using the stroller. My second reaction was that it was SO lightweight. I was able to pick the stroller up with one finger! This is such a great feature. It is such a pain to lug a heavy stroller in and out of our SUV or around the airport when we are traveling frequently. The quick one hand release and fold feature is nice - especially if you have your child in the other hand! This stroller is made for an older child, in my opinion, that no longer needs a cup holder or tray, as it does not have one - but it does have a nice size cargo basket on the bottom which is helpful for the parents! Overall, I would recommend this stroller to anyone who is looking for an ultra lightweight stroller for their toddler, especially for traveling!

"I received a Walmart gift card to purchase an Urbini stroller in order to facilitate this review and all opinions are my own." I absolutely loved the Urbini Hummingbird Stroller! I received the stroller last Thursday and as soon as it arrived my daughter wanted to try it out. I loved that the stroller was completely put together, all I had to do was add the wheels and those were super easy to install. No waiting for the hubby to do it for me. The first thing I realized was how light weight it was. I've been looking for a single stroller that was light weight and great for on the go, but did not want a cheap looking stroller. The Hummingbird definitely met my expectations and is very stylish! My daughter chose the Raspberry Pink and we absolutely loved the bright color. Another great feature that the Hummingbird Stroller has that many small light strollers don't is a basket underneath it. As a parent of two little girls I'm always carrying snacks, water, diapers, and other items for them. Especially during long days like when we visit theme parks. Our regular backpack didn't fit underneath, but I was okay with that because it is rather large, but it fits our snack bag and other day goodies. We actually took it to a local theme park today and it did wonderfully. My daughter had a lot of space to sit in and the material is great for spills and easy cleanup which is wonderful! It's so light weight that even my 4 year old got a chance to push her little sister around the park, but it's also very sturdy that she even sat in it for a while. Another great feature is how it folds up by clicking on the button right on top and it even stands all by itself! No leaning against the car or laying on the floor! Overall I was very, very happy with the Urbini Hummingbird Stroller and would definitely recommend it if you are looking for something easy to manage, light weight, but stylish at the same time!

Great lightweight stroller

This stroller is almost too lightweight! It is very easy to fold and unfold one-handed, but because it is so lightweight you almost need a second hand because the weight of the stroller is not enough for it to open. It is lighter than a cheap umbrella stroller that we had for quick trips to and from the car with our son, but also it is so much roomier. My son is 28 lbs and just over 1 year old (very tall for his age), and this stroller has plenty of room for him. He seemed very comfortable in this stroller, whereas he had seemed to barely fit in the umbrella stroller that we had. When folded this is larger than an umbrella stroller, but is still very flat and compact. If you are looking for something lightweight I highly recommend this stroller over an umbrella stroller. This stroller also has a great roomy storage basket underneath (something you will not find in an umbrella stroller).

If you are looking for the lightest stroller available, this is the one - we bought this to take on an upcoming cruise, but had to try it out when it arrived. We took it to a theme park for the day, and our little boy enjoyed it so much! The fold/unfold is really easy and it's nothing to move in and out of the minivan. The under seat storage is surprisingly big, and the canopy does a great job of keeping baby out of the sun. As a whole the stroller is very solid, not flimsy at all. We considered just getting a cheap generic "umbrella stroller", but this is half the weight of a lot of them - yes, the price is higher, but I think this will outlast several of the umbrella strollers, which should make up a lot of the difference. We highly recommend the Urbini Hummingbird. We ordered the blue one for our boy, and it looks great!

My grand baby is very comfortable in the Urbini Humming Bird Stroller. The stroller is the lightest stroller ever. It folds easily. It is very manageable getting on and off public transportation, like buses and subways in my city.

I received a Walmart gift card to purchase an Urbini stroller in order to facilitate this review and all opinions are my own. I love how light the Urbini Hummingbird Stroller is I wish it folded up smaller though. My daughter is over 2 but she is a little peanut. I've never "loved" the umbrella stroller because it's not really wide enough to be comfy for the kids. I would compare this stroller to a Maclaren but without the price tag and 6 pounds lighter. It's wide seat makes it a comfy one for the kiddo. The stroller has a 2 step lock that allows it to open and close up into the folding position. I don't think you should have to unlock it to open it up but it is helpful when it's stored. You can move it around without it popping open. It also stand upright when its closed. The storage underneath is a good size also. I'm able to put a diaper bag in it with no problem. There is The sun shade is also bigger than other lightweight or umbrella strollers. My only complaint is that I wish it folded up a little more compact. But in a perfect world all strollers would fold up into a little ball so we all had trunk space. All in all thought I think it's great. The fact that it's so lightweight was the big one for me for everyday shopping or running errands.

I received a Walmart gift card to purchase an Urbini stroller in order to facilitate this review and all opinions are my own. One of the things I hate about being on the go with kids is having to lug around a heavy stroller, so I thought I'd give the Urbini Hummingbird a try. It boasts a weight limit of 50 pounds and 45 inches tall, so in a pinch, my oldest would squeak by, and it would still work for my toddler too. With a five point harness, I know they'd stay put. Pros: Light weight - we're talking 7 lbs so it's easy to manage One handed fold - really. No latches, just a button. Good size shopping basket, but I would not overload it. Easy to push on smooth surfaces. Fun, bright colors. Cons: Minimal recline - I would not recommend this stroller for naps Wheels are not practical for much beyond the mall and even sidewalks Not recommended for babies not sitting up. Can be tippy for kids nearing the weight limit Wheel brakes not the easiest to engage. Still, I'm not convinced this is the right lightweight stroller for me. I recommend you head to the store and check one out for yourself and see if it suits your families needs. I do not personally think it's the right one for my family, but it might still work for you.

Bought it in March 2017. I love how light it was. I could open and close with one hand and hold baby with the other. Not much protection for baby from the hot south Texas sun. Basket a bit small, but not awful. Must be careful going over cracks in the sidewalk. I hurt my leg and baby would have flown out of seat if not buckled in when I hit a crack on sidewalk once. But, overall, I was happy with purchase. Last month or so, the release button at the top started sticking slightly. But, nothing I couldn't handle. Then a couple of weeks ago (July 2017), I pull the stroller out of the trunk, press the release button, and it won't open. After a frustrating few tries, I determined that one side was stuck on those little push buttons and would not come unstuck. I had to call urbini. They sent the swiftlight stroller as a replacement. They didn't ask any questions and only needed my old stroller's model number and manufacturer date. That led me to believe they've been having problems with the hummingbird. I got confirmation of that when the customer service rep said they were no longer being manufactured. New swiftlight stroller is okay...it's heavier, the basket is even smaller, more shade for baby, wheels look a little wobbly, but rides smooth, nice people color, higher handle bars for dad. I do not recommend the hummingbird stroller. I would have if it didn't break on me. Very disappointed.

I bought this to use for my 6 month old daughter. I didn't want a very heavy stroller because I'm not a very physical strong person, I'm 5 feet and at about 120ish pounds. I just wanted something that I can take out of the car quickly and not have my arm or stomach hurt every time I did so or struggle with it. So for being light weight, Yes! it is very little weight! Even a toddler could pick it up! But I guess for being so light weight it lacks stability. It is so wobbly that I'm afraid to put my child in it. And yes maybe it's not made for a 6 month old but I think I still wouldn't put a toddler in it because it's so wobbly when you use it on just even a plan surface. It definitely feels cheap for something that you paid $100 for! So I ended up returning it sadly. I really wish this would be the end of my searching for a lightweight stroller... Sadly it's not!

I purchased this to replace my full size stroller, but I will have to get something else. This stroller is definitely light, but I think it is too light. It handles like a bad shopping buggy. I have used it 2 or 3 times with my 22lb son for just a walk around town and I get stuck on any slight unevenness on the walk ways and any stick or piece of gravel. I spend more time lifting and maneuvering than enjoying the walk. The shade does not tilt down any further than shown in the pic, so it does not provide any shade unless the sun it behind or directly above. The seat is slightly hard to adjust, but the worse is it only adjusts back about 4 or 5 inches and is sort of useless. The basket underneath is ok and the construction seem ok, but overall I am very unhappy with this stroller.
