DVD drive and storage space. Laptop came early. Plugged up to charge but was powered up and liked the speed
So far this has been a super buy. Very, very happy with software preloaded and performance. Will not be afraid to purchase refurbished in the future.
Great laptop to replace my old one. A bit slow sometimes on the internet but I don't need it for speed.

We were looking for a basic laptop to replace a tablet. This Dell fit the bill and performs perfectly. The shipping packaging could have been better. the corrugated that was supposed to keep the machine from moving didn't do it's job but because this Dell is built very well, there was no damage. A Windows 10 update had to be applied and this took quite a well but in the end it's a great deal.
Always find out from the buyer, if what u buy has everything it requires. Bought a laptop and said it had Microsoft on it, but it didn't. So you have to buy it yourself, cost runs from 135.00 to 350.00. So just check everything out when you buy a refurbished laptop. Because some are too old to for certain apps to work on.
windows10 will not update
Computer arrived in good condition however 2 problems were discovered. (1) It took me a while to discover there was an "airplane mode" switch on the side preventing me from setting up WiFi. (2) The battery was dead and the computer would not function without external power. I am still waiting for Zoom to provide a replacement battery. Otherwise, Windows was seriously out of date and it took several hours for all the appropriate updates to install.
Boots but wont load. Ran the diagnostics and lead me to HHD error all the time.this happened in the Middle of online meetings and presentation
within a month it started to get slower and slower .when it's cold takes several minutes to move. my computer I got 10yrs ago is faster NEWER BUY AGAIN.
