Lightweight yet warm and cozy blanket. This product shocked me. The value was great so I thought the quality wouldn't be - I was delightfully wrong. This is a perfect Christmas present or birthday gift. The recipient will enjoy this vellum blanket for years. Great color selection, another plus.
I like this producet very much. However I expected it to much thinner for the same warmth...I would recommend it for the person who is freezing at night during the coming winter months...It is easy to wash, and it feels softer after you wash it...
This is the best blanket I've ever bought. It is soft and warm when you need warmth...yet cool enough when you need just a little cover. Softer after every washing. Never loses its shape. I'm buying some for gifts this Christmas.
I have bought one before as a gift 8 years ago; they still have it and it washes well--and stays in shape; and still soft, non-piling, etc. Color still the same-no fading. It is soft and warm--and lightweight--so it does not make your feet fill crushed in the bed. I love this type of blanket.
Blanket has a nice soft feel, good for those with sensitive skin like myself. It also gets softer as you wash it and holds up well. w.arms without overheating
The price was really good on this product and it is very soft, but it has a horrible rubber smell to it. It took about 10 times of washing it and using lots of fabric softener to finally get the smell to go away. Now that the smell is gone I'm very happy with the blanket.
The blanket is very soft and lightweight, but still warm. While I probably wouldn't use it during the coldest part of the winter here in the Northeast, it would be good for Spring, Summer, and Fall use. The top and bottom are hemmed, but the sides are not. I like the fact that you can wash it often without it pilling or shredding.
The only problem with this blanket is that the full size that I bought for my full size bed is not large enough to tuck in the sides. I have a thick mattress topper on my bed, and the blanket would be skimpy even without it. I'm going to exchange it for a queen/king sized. I like everything else about the blanket: It's well made, feels and looks good, is somewhat warm in winter and cool in summer (I know this because this blanket is the same kind as ones I've used for years), and judging from my previous vellux blanket (which is a queen/king), it will last a long time. I'm sure I will like the queen/king.
Very pleased with the color and softness of the blanket. One thing, though, if you have a cat that plays on it, you will find little snags in it. Other than that, I love it.
This blanket is way too thin and was quite stiff. It also sheds a lot of tiny nylon specks...or whatever material this product is made of. It was especially noticeable on all of my black electronics. I tried washing it several times, but it didn't seem to make a difference. I took it back to the store for a refund.
