Purchased in July 2010. Fit perfectly in the corner of my closet, very sturdy and attractive. You don't realize that it is a shoe cabinet until you open it.
I am very pleased with the shoe storage white cabinet. It looks good against my white walls. Besides, the dividers make storage flexible for different types of shoes. I am a 72 year old woman and I was able to put it together with ease. After putting the first drawer unit together I tried different shoes in the unit and decided where I wanted to put the dividers before setting it into the unit. I was so pleased I have ordered a second white shoe cabinet!
The Shoe Cabinet looks great. It met expectations. The Installation directions needed to be read several times before assembling all the pieces.
A little complicated to the end of drawers installation steps.
We are generally pleased. You probably won't fit as many shoes in as advertised. You can leave out some dividers to allow bigger shoes but that reduces number of pairs. We did that on 2 of the 3 sections. Even so, I couldn't fit in some of my 11.5 size men't shoes. When assembling it, while it was face down, I leaned against one of the cross pieces and it broke.
Love the appearance. I have lots of shoes and I need a white one to match my wall color. It was easy to build but you need to be careful on the steps. My boyfriend told me not to make mistakes because it will not stable if you need to re-assemble. Also, it actually cannot fit in 36 pairs shoes (unless all are smaller sizes or summer ones)because I want to fit in winter boots and running shoes, it can only fit in like 22 pairs.
You get what you pay for and I didn't pay much for this cabinet. Low quality, but this was expected. What wasn't expected was the long shipping time, which was two weeks.
I recently remodeled my small closet and found myself with no place for my 30 some pairs of shoes. Not wanting an over-the-door organizer, I liked the style of this cabinet to "hide" all the pairs of shoes. Good quality product and it was pretty easy for my fiance to put together. Probably took him an hour. Not super sturdy on carpet, but bare floor should be okay. It looks sharp in my closet. I wear a size 9 and there's no way I could fit that many shoes. The top section/divider is too small for most heels, platforms. And I wouldn't put my sandals, as they'd fall through the opening once you close the cabinet. There's an option of just having one divider, two sections - and that's what I did. I can fit for sure three pairs across with the last one having to squeeze. I fit 24 pairs, mostly wedges and heels.
We bought this cabinet to replace one like it that broke. This ones particle board pieces are half the thickness of the one we had, and it is not as wide or as deep. My husband only wears a size 9 shoe but his shoes don't all fit because it is so shallow. It required 2+ hours of assembly with two of us working on it.
The rack doesnt fit the amount of shoes it says it does unless your putting all sandals/flip flop size shoes in there. The bigger issue however is the quality of the product is poor. During the assembly process you have to put the unit down on its face and the only way to do so is to hold one of the braces in the back and when i did that it snapped in two. The rack is still useable but now significantly weaker and for almost $150 after taxes it definitely is not worth the money.
