When taking the scratch of off be carful the numbers lift of easy and make hard to read
bought the $35 card for my daughter, as she doesn't use that much data (she is most of the time in wifi area). When we programmed the number, Verizon took the card as a $35 payment, but their new prepaid programs are either $45 or $60. So, when the month began, Verizon began deducting $0.20 - $0.25 for each call and txt (either received or sent). I called customer service and they told me that the $35 card is basically a partial payment, but it needs to be completed up to $45 in order to have unlimited txt's and calls. This is not what the card indicates. Verizon did credit the complete amount and I was able to pay the $10 difference. but the fact is that $35 is outdated, and the plan is not honored by Verizon.
That was the last time I will ever buy a Verizon refill card. First of all, I couldn't buy the exact amount I needed. I had to buy for a greater amount than I needed. Second, there was a surcharge of almost $18 for three cards. Outrageous!!! I won't ever be paying with a refill card again!
