This is a very sturdy piece of furniture. Had some frustration putting the legs on due to the awkward positioning of the screw holes, but got it done. It looks great in my bedroom. So much easier than standing at the bathroom counter to do hair and make-up!
I needed a vanity for years and finally purchased this one during the Thanksgiving sales week. The style of this vanity is lovely with lots of storage space. I added a vanity storage tray inside the middle drawer. The vanity was surprisingly easy to put together. I enlisted my brother to help me put it together, but didn't need any help at all. I just needed help bringing it to the 2nd floor. The delivery people will call you before delivering so make sure that you check your voicemail! They are very nice and will make arrangements for delivery and give and exact date. Since the table is quite heavy, the delivery person carried the package inside. Nice! I really like the little stool, but used my own chair because it has a back to it. Mirror is also very nice and sturdy. I also sometimes use this table for computer work. Will get a lot of use of this lovely table.
I am so happy with the vanity. Excellent quality and customer service.
A great piece of furniture for the $$$.$$ it was a Christmas gift for my 14 year old niece and she loved it! The only issue with putting it together is the difficulty of removing the drawers to install the legs. I think the directions & parts (screws) could have been labeled better... but all in all a very good value
great vanity for daughters room. went well with her black furniture , fairly easy to assemble , storage for teenagers make up , etc. nice piece of furniture .
I love this! I have been using it for 3 years and it is perfect. The only problem is that the stool does not fit beneath/inbetween the vanity. You can't use it like a normal stool- it will only fit if you slide it under vertically. I plan to get a smaller stool eventually, but it works for now.
This vanity is quality. I was really impressed with it's weight and stability. It went together easily, but the bench needed some extra muscle to screw in the pocket screws - but that just makes it more sturdy and heirloom quality. I intend to change out the knobs to match my other furniture. The only less than quality item is the mirror itself. I intend to change it out to a beveled mirror. Otherwise, a really great addition to my bedroom.
Overall this product is everything expected. However, it is very small. The mirror definitely needs to be higher. Also, the bench is a bit too wide, but I make it work.
So I bought my vanity set close to 3 years ago I believe. So I'm not sure if I'm reviewing on the correct vanity. From what I see there are three vanities on walmart.com that look the same. (1) Vanity with Tri-Fold Mirror and Bench, Multiple Colors that is $299. (2) 3-Piece Vanity, Mirror and Bench Set, Antique Black that is $358 and there is (3) Powell Furniture Antique Black Vanity Set with Mirror that is $477. So I'm not sure which one I purchased. Mine did come with the table, mirror and chair. Its a great starting vanity for anyone of any age. It is more on the smaller side as far as height goes. So if your a taller person. It may have to be adjusted some how. The color is rich, the wood will stand up for what you need it for. But if you are using it for makeup, nails or hair and need to display product. Be sure to put something down to cover the top of the table. Even getting a glass or plastic top custom made. If you get something on it like makeup or something hard to get off. Chances are you will mess up the finish on the wood. The chair is nice. I ended up replacing it, just because It was kinda awkward putting it under the table how I liked it. Also if you do keep the chair be sure to cover that to because its not easy to clean. It stains very easily. My vanity did come pretty quickly from what I remember. I do remember the back of it being chipped. It wasn't bad but of course its frustrating when you pay for something. You wait for it. Then is comes damaged. So I wasn't to thrilled with that. However its not noticeable because it is in the back so I didn't return or anything. Overall its a nice vanity if you want to keep it under $500. This vanity also comes in white.
My product was delivered in 3 days which was awesome BUT when I opened my package the corner of the vanity was crushed (there was no damage to the box). I emailed the company and they are refunding me and request that I send it back. I think I will be going to a different company since this is such a hassle. I am a small girl and this box a super heavy so now I have to get someone to come help me get it back to FedEx. Very inconvenient.
