My son likes these pads and never resisits wearing them. They appear to be quite comfortable and stylish.
The explaniation was poor. You have to slide the pads over pants. Other than that, they work great. They have saved my daughter from lots of scraped knees and sprained wrists.
I was happy with the safety of the product.
No complaints about the quality. Bought for 9yr old ( 60 lb) and they were too big. The straps would not tighten enough to keep them from falling off of his knees and elbows. All that is needed is for the company to expand the velcro on the strap so you can tighten up more and then they would have been perfect. I still recommend. Only other item needed was helmet.
The product was exactly what I wanted for my budding skateboarder - he is nine years old. The pads protect the vulnerable portions of his body: his knees, elbows, wrists, and palms. Too bad they don't make pads for the hips and butt! Since this is a new product, and it hasn't necessary been tested to its full extent, it is difficult to determine its full effectiveness. I guess that will come in time. For now, it seems to do the job for which it was intended at a very reasonable price.
