My 12.5 Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie) but more Maltese loved it like a back scratcher! But, we keep her hair short *SO NO PULLING OR TANGLES* Word of caution: if she had long hair like the Malteses in dog shows, it may probably pull, static, dunno if this good on dogs with more than an inch, 1.5, 2.0 inch max. I just got it temporarily. I want a SELF CLEANING FURMINATOR but didnt know if a slicker-brush would hurt her. I only used on body top/sides, not undercoat!!! And VERY VERY little lightly once thru head
I'm so glad I got this for my Pomeranians. It grabs so much of their shedding fur and leaves their fur soft and fluffy like it should be! I'm so glad I got this brush. Must try!
I love this brush for my small yorkie. It combs her out in now time flat and she doesn't complain about being combed. I would recommend it for any long haired dog.
Okay so i have a white pitbull, and my favorite color clothing is of course black. I cant sit or stand anywhere without being covered in white dog hair so i started looking for brushes. I found this one and liked how it was cheap and thought why not? It arrived and i tried it and omg!! The dog loved it first of all, but most importantly it got ALOT of hair off of her. I couldnt belive how much hair really came off of her, it was really easy to clean to i just banged it on the side of my trashcan and it was ready to use again. Deffinately reccomend!
Vibrant Life Dog Slicker Grooming Brush is perfect for my poodle. I've never had a poodle so when his ears started looking rough I purchased this brush and I'm shocked at how effective this is. At first I looked at it and thought that looks really rough and I was worried about it pulling his hair and hurting him, but he loved it and his ears have never looked so good. I used this everyday on him and its really changed his ears. I recommend this Vibrant Life Dog Slicker Grooming Brush for all your puppies.
I wanted a small slicker for my cats, but none have been in stock at my store for more than 2 months. My 2 cats are the size of a medium size dog , so I bought this slicker. I had a previous small cat slicker that needed replacing. This is slightly larger than I would have liked, but is working well on my cats thick fur.
The bristles on the brush are a little longer than I expected. It works well, but you need to be careful not to add any pressure when using the brush because it will hurt your dog. Probably best for more dense fur. For my Aussie, shorter bristles would be better.
I have a black lab mix, and this is the 3rd brush Ive tried on her. At last! This one actually gets to the undercoat that is constantly shedding. It does require a gentle touch to avoid scratching, but it works. I imagine it would tangle and pull in longer fur, but works fine on a short coat.
The brush works well. My dog is scared of it. But she's scared of everything. Brush will do a good job.
I bought for Chihuahua, too big for him. He also hated how it felt. I have since bout a smaller one that ejects the accumulated hair. That works great and he isn't so afraid of it. Big Chihuahua taller then my cocker spaniel
