To me this is one of the best and most secure ways to refill a Virgin Mobile account! I used my Paypal account to pay and the card information was emailed to the intended party in a matter of minutes (in this case, less than 10)! Although Virgin Mobile now accepts Paypal you still have to register your account on their website and I feel that the least amount of times that you have to give out your card number or Paypal info online or to different companies, the better the chance of it not being intercepted and used without your permission and it makes gifting a lot easier as well.
Buying the card was less expensive than buying off the Virgin Mobile website. It was very convenient to buy it of the walmart web site and then add it to our phone.
Cool. Best way to add top up minutes. And da cheapest too! It's even cheaper dan adding minutes straight thru virgin mobile.
I used this with my Broadband2Go plan. It is a very convenient way to top up your Virgin Mobile account. You don't have to go to the store to find the exact amount of top-up you need!
Walmart discounts just enough to cover the whole amount after the federal tax is added, so that in MY case anyway amount paid didn't go over amount on card. I call that pretty good. Plus, the e-mail confirmation says the code will be sent within 48 hours, but my experience after having bought these twice is that it seldom takes more than 15 mnutes of paying. Then you just go to Virgin Mobile's website, log into your account, select "top-up", plug in the number that was e-mailed to you and voilá. On my LG Flare phone the minutes go through instantly. I like doing it this way better than using my credit card, which if you've read the news lately there are security issues with Virgin Mobile's accounts. This is one thing Wal-Mart does right.
A $35 a month plan for unlimited txt and web with 200 min of talk time. I received the pin number for the card 30 seconds after buying online. Fast delivery to my email no wait, and no problem.
I really needed this quickly and there was a delay in delivery of the pin. I had to email customer service about it. It worked fine, once I got it. And the price was great. Not sure if I will buy again though. When you need to top up, you need it now.
This $10 topup card is worth the $10, BUT Walmart makes you wait 48 hours to process payment before sending the code via email. This is supposedly to prevent fraudulent transactions. So if you need your minutes ASAP (which most people would), I would recommend going to the store and buying a physical topup card. Otherwise, it you don't mind waiting a couple of days, this is an acceptable solution to getting additional minutes on your cell phone.
It took 48 hours from the time I paid for this card to the time that the email arrive with the redemption code so that I could load the payment onto my phone. You could easily drive to a store ane buy a card in the time it took for the electronic transaction to complete.
I bought this VM minute card and Wal-mart never sent me the card and didn't refund my cash. Do not get scammed by buying this. Take your $10 to the local drug store to purchase. They promised a delivery of minutes via email. It's been 13 days and nothing has come out of it. Beware!!!
