I recently purchased this phone at our local Wal-Mart for the mentioned price. I was a little unsure going into it - but I figured for the price I would check it out. My last phone was a Samsung Galaxy SIII - but it got broken. I have consistently had Samsung brand phones and am very happy with this one. So far the only issue I have found is that it can be a tad laggy - but I'm also a little impatient at times and I know trying to do too much too quick can make it run a little slow. A simple quick restart and it runs much better. Only needed to restart twice, I believe. Definitely happy.
A very fast phone that can handle all the apps I want or need. Why spend $500+ for any phone or $80+ a month for a "free" phone that has a contract when a Galaxy Core Prime does the trick quite easily...the math is simple and Galaxy Core Prime wins...$109 for the phone after taxes..plus $40 monthly with Virgin Mobile = $589.00 for 1 year......the "free" phone plus contracts at $70-80.00 a month = $840 to $960 a year....Galaxy phone + Virgin Mobile wins..and Virgin Mobile has great customer service...I made a mistake regarding my billing...and they gave me a free 3 weeks of service...even though it was my fault...
This is my first Smartphone and I love it! Reasonable priced and good value and reasonable plans to pick. I get good reception on calls. Still learning about many of the phones functions. Takes good video, however, picture taking clarity is not the greatest. Webpages come up pretty quick and downloads are relatively short.
Love the phone it is everything and more than we expected however changing over from our current service with Virgin mobile to the new service was a nightmare. We have been with Virgin mobile for over a year and wanted to keep our current phone numbers. The phone downloads everything except when you get to the part to keep your phone number you must call in. It took a total of 7 phone calls and 2 days. Almost went to at&t and was going to pay the extra money if the 7th call did not complete the problems.
I just bought this phone and I love it...i have been a VM customer for over 6 years and this is my favorite phone ever. The display is bright and colorful, lots of memory, great camera and best part is the battery. I usually charge it before i go to bed and then keep it with me overnight...starts out at 100% and wake up to 99%! LOVE LOVE LOVE it...go buy one you won't regret it
You will not find a better handset for $100.00 - $130.00. Only glitch on one of the three handsets we have has been with the capacitive buttons once in a while. Perfect size and 4g lte speed. Why carry $600.00 worth of electronics in your pocket if you don't have to?
Its really fast has great 4g lots of space for storange and a good battery i use it all the time and have it for like a a month now mine has a glitch with the screen but i didnt return it for a new one due to having lots of stuff but mainly what happens it randomly the screen does stuff by it self for a second then i cant tap but all i do is lock it and unlock it and it works again. but overall great phone its not slow at all
I purchased this phone to replace my existing Virgin Mobile phone. I have been attempting to transfer my existing Virgin Mobile number to this phone without success. I have made countless phone calls, sent numerous emails and contacting Virgin Mobile via Facebook to resolve this for nearly two weeks without success. I will be purchasing another phone from another provider and taking my business elsewhere. My question to Wal-Mart is what can be done regarding a refund on this phone I have not been able to transfer my number to? I Purchased it in store.
Hours on the phone with customer service and many attempts to reset the phone was a waist of my time. Not only this phone but I bought two for the kids. Neither one would work completely. I returned these phones the next day. Do not waist your money on this phone.
I have had virgin mobile for years so wjen i heare about this new plan, I decided to try it. I got this phone and had problems switching my phone number. I called customer service and they activated it for me. I was ableto use the phone but could not use the vm app or get updates. So i called customer service. Big mistake, i would guess i have spent 5 hours total on the phone with them.i have went from not getting updates to not having service at all and they dont seem to know how to fix the problem. The customer service is HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!
