Had it for about a month now before writing a review. The digital picture awesome compared to regular tv. I thought the sound was terrible at first but I must have got used to it, now it sounds decent now. I have it in my 9'x9' computer room about the right size for this 22". It"s slow to change channels but I knew this before I bought it for the reviews here. Would buy Again

I was originally going to buy a smaller TV from another company, but I ended up spending the extra hundred for this. I was a bit weary buying something that wasn't at my store through walmart online, but this TV is by far the best electronics purchase on my part. The picture is just as good as the plasma in the living room on the HD channels. My dad was blown away by the picture quality. I have had the TV about 3 and a half months and the only thing that bothers me is the sound which is really low. I am quite frequently turning up the volume for movies. I wish the stand would allow me to move the TV up and down too, but I propped the stand up a little in the back with a small book so the angling was a bit better while watching TV in bed. I'm sure if I hung it on a wall I wouldn't have trouble seeing the picture in bed. Overall I love this TV. I use it in a small bedroom and it does the job very good! The image I have of it looks a lot better than it does when I uploaded it here! The picture of the TV doesn't do it justice.

Great TV

The only thing I can find wrong with the tv is that white turns red from a really high angle. It's only noticed when standing higher than the tv. There is little ghosting unless there are really vibrant colors, also you have to watch for them it's not something that stands out. It works perfectly. Dynamic Contrast adjusts the tv's contrast to make anything on the screen have a deeper black or white. Superb TV . Works well as a computer monitor or a tv for a smaller room. I bought it as a replacement for a dying tube tv. Great for gaming. The resolution of the TV will be supported by the Xbox 360 when the new "Live Experience™" comes out.

I have this TV hooked up to a Directv HD receiver. I had to hook it up via component (red, blue, green) and use the standard "red/white" composite cables for audio b/c the HDMI and digital audio outputs on my HD receiver no longer work (not sure why). I know it's not the inputs on the TV b/c I hooked it up to another HD receiver via HDMI and it was fine. Even though I had to use the component input, and not the preferred HDMI, the picture is fantastic! For a modestly priced TV hooked up via component, I couldn't ask for more! Also, the volume issue that everyone seems to be complaining about is not an issue on mine. I'm not sure if Vizio took the comments and recently fixed the problem or what but my volume is just fine. I do agree with the menu being small...but oh well, not a big deal. I'm actually glad I found out that component works so well b/c I have a blu ray player on order so I'll use the HDMI input on the Vizio for blu ray. I can't wait to see how great that looks!!! Overall, I am perfectly happy with my new Vizio and HIGHLY recommend it to others. I've been doing the HD thing for a while and this is the second HDTV for my house so I'm pretty knowledgeable. The one and only complaint I have has nothing to do with the TV. Site to Store shipping took FOREVER! I have two Wal-Marts within 20 miles from me and it took about 2 weeks for me to get my TV...even though both stores had the TV in stock. So, if you are impatient...like me...just go to the store and buy it! :-)

I was worried about reviews about the sound quality and although I liked the size and price, I first bought another brand TV. But I wasn't happy with it and returned it and bought this Vizio TV. The sound and volume control are perfectly fine especially for my office. This is a great TV for the money and very nice looking.

Great TV & Monitor for the price!

I purchased these to view front and rear security cameras while viewing TV in the bedroom. These are a great value for the price here and offer a superb picture just like the Vizio GV42LF. Added bonus is I have each on a separate HD cable tuner so I can view a lot of football games without relying on PIP from the main set. I would recommend this model over the VO22L, which has just one more HDMI, but has a larger bezel and a more industrial look to it. The VW22L has a thin piano bezel and looks more refined. I believe in value and Vizio has not let me down, in fact, I would have purchased two more for the family room to see the cameras had both Walmart stores not been sold out. Just a great little TV and makes for an excellent no hassle computer monitor.

Decent

TV is decent. Good sound and picture. Main complaint is it is very tough to see the channel numbers when surfing - and I have good eyesight. Maybe there is a solution to enlarge, but have played around with all the menus and have not found anything yet. But for the price - pretty happy with purchase.

Unfortunatly, I had to return this tv due to very low sound volume. Picture quality was fine and it has a very sensitive analog and digital tuner. Being 60 years of age, my eyesight is not like it was at 30. I could not see the on-screen menus unless I got up close to the screen. I intended to use this tv in the kitchen but the sound level was too low. I tried moving it to the bedroom but at 100 % volume, it could be heard but at a distorted level. Its rated at 2 watts audio output which should be enough. Are the speakers too small? Walmart took it back and I just exchanged it for a Sanyo LCD tv which works like it should. Before I did the swap, I checked the in-store display model. It too had very low volume. If the audio output were to be connected to a stereo or home theatre system, its volume probably would be ok but I would test it first.
