[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: Love this two camera set so I don't have to move cameras around. There's also the duo view mode so you can watch Theo screens simultaneously if you have two kids. The tilting and panning is very helpful so I get the right angle. The night view is also very clear. There's a lot of cool extra features like motion alert and music machine including white noise. With the hot summer, I love having the temperature reading which keeps my baby safe. Good to know: These are not wireless cameras so they have to be plugged in. The screen does not have to be plugged in but should be for continuous streaming otherwise the battery will die. Cons: There's the volume coming from the camera speakers to the monitor that you can turn down by going to settings and turning off the alert tones, but there are still some alerts that make noise and I can't figure out how to silence them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received VTech RM5764-2HD Smart Wi-Fi Video Baby monitor to test. The video monitor comes with 2 HD camera that can connect by Wi-Fi, a 5 inch parent unit in HD, mounts for the cameras, and cords for cameras and parent unit. A nice piece of information is that you can also connect to the cameras by downloading the app onto your smart phone so that you can check on your baby even when you are out for date night. The cameras are really nice. They are listed as able to “pans up to 360 degrees side-to side, tilts up to 80 degrees up and down, and zooms up to 10 times with mobile app or 4 times from the viewer.” You can also play soothing noise and lullabies from the camera. The cameras has infrared night vision so you will be able to see your child in the dark. You can also check on the room temp since the camera has a built in temperature sensor. What is really cool is that you are able to talk to your baby through the camera. It's so great how far technically has gotten that you can provide your soothing voice to your child while still be in a different room to teach him how to sleep on their own. When I was getting the cameras setup, the instruction said that the parent unit needs to be full charged (which will take up to 8 hours) before you can set it up and then just follow the setup instruction. I charged it overnight and turned it on but I didn't see any instructions on the screen. They must have meant the instruction from the manual. I tried to pair the parent unit with 1 camera. It took a couple of tries. The parent unit kept saying to get closer to the camera or Wi-Fi. In the end, I had to connect the parent unit to my Wi-Fi first and then it tried to search for the camera. It did find the camera and the quality on the parent unit is awesome. The camera really does provide a great HD video. I didn't realize when I was reading the instructions but you can control the camera from the parent unit. I'm so used to manually adjusting the camera myself on our old baby monitor that I didn't know they made cameras that did that. I was also able to test the soothing sounds and lullabies with my daughter. She loves the lullabies. She also loves that I could hear her and talk to her through the camera. It was all so exciting for her. The fully charge battery lasted all night. I think I turned it on at 9pm and it was around 7am when the low battery alert went off. When I went to pair the second camera, it was a little bit harder. I had to reconfigure the Wi-Fi to get it to link and press the pair button on the bottom of the camera before it would pair up. In the end, I think you should have both camera setup first before you try to pair any of the cameras to the parent unit. It will save you time and frustration. I also set my iphone up to get remote access to the cameras. It was a bit difficult to get it to link up. The app wouldn't recognized the QR code from the parent unit. I had to try it over 10 times before it finally recognized the QR code and quickly linked the cameras to my phone. The quality of the video isn't as good as on the parent unit but it is still really cool. You have the options of recording videos, taking pictures, and you can still turn on the lullabies and sounds. Overall, I love this video baby monitor. It's so cool. I had some frustration with setup but after that was done, everything works wonderfully. I love all the many features and functions it has. Pros: great features, camera quality is great, remote access, lullabies and soothing sounds. Cons: a little to setup at first.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kids are always getting into trouble so I worry about leaving them in another room as the rooms don't carry sound very well. Having a monitor is super important. I have tried other brands but this is by far my favorite. The photo quality is so crisp, it's high definition for sure. The monitor is easy to set up and the features are nice. I love being able to talk to my kids on it so they can hear me without running all the way upstairs or having to shout. Especially handy when the littlest is sleeping. I love being able to even know the temp on the rooms without going in there so I can adjust the AC as needed I love how easy it is to move around as well. When they are playing in the playroom I simply plug in a camera so I can keep an eye on them while I'm upstairs cooking or if I am going to be downstairs to clean I can watch while they do stuff upstairs. The option to switch between rooms or split screen are excellent. Some days I need larger picture and some days I need to be able to watch two places at once. The lullabies for night time are perfect for a restful sleep and I can turn them off once they are asleep without going in the room to wake anyone up. Over all a must have in my opinion whether you have small children or just want to keep an eye on kids when you aren't in the room.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Vtech baby monitors before and was excited to get this two camera system as we are getting ready for a second baby. I wanted an easy to use, high definition system that had two cameras on one monitor and this monitor system delivers. This system includes the capability to download an app and monitor remotely, which is good to have especially when you have babysitters, but when I am at home I prefer the plug and play using the parent unit. I like that this system offers both capabilities. I was able to get the plug and play up running in a minute. It was very simple to set up. I just plugged in both cameras and the baby unit, pressed ok a few times and was set! The resolution on the camera is crisp and clear. I like the big screen and set it up so I can see both cameras on the display at once. The large screen enables me to see the baby's and toddler's rooms clearly. I can also pan side to side and up and down on each baby camera through the parent unit. I do not have to be in the room to adjust. The zoom and night vision are great. The app is cool because it lets you log in from multiple devices, so both you and other care takers can see what is happening. I set it up on my iphone but it also says it works with Andriod. This system has nice extra touches. For example, it includes Velcro ties on all cords so you can tighten any loose cord and two wall mounts for the baby unit cameras. It displays the temperature and lets you record. It also has the capability to talk to your baby and play lullabies or white noise. I would highly recommend this system for caregiver with two littles!

This baby monitor system has given us such a sense of relief though! There are so many awesome perks! You have a monitor with a large screen, but you can also download the app so you can check on baby away from home. You can set up the monitor to alert you with any sounds or motion it picks up. It shows you what the temperature is as well. The camera can turn in multiple directions, so you can always move the angles if your baby loves to move around the crib like mine. There's also a zoom feature and the ability to turn the cameras off from the camera base. Something that I personally like is that there's an option to talk to the baby and play lullabies to help sooth them. I really love the clarity of the HD camera and that you can record pictures or videos from the app. I honestly have no serious complaints about this baby monitor system and would definitely recommend it to any parent to give them peace of mind.

Not one but two cameras offer so many viewing options and 1080p offers high quality video and images.The ability to talk to and play white noises remotelyis without question my favorite feature. My husband's is the 360 degree pan, tilt and zoom feature.I love that I can record video or snap a picture from the camera if I catch one of those precious moments. The option to use the monitorcor your phone is icing on the cake.

Setting up the cameras, the monitor and the app was super simple! The cameras can stand alone or be mounted and the hardware needed is included. When I first turned on the cameras, I was so impressed with how clear and detailed the pictures are on the monitor! No matter what time of the day, even at night, the images are super clear and the quality is exceptional! I love that this monitor gives me the ability to move freely around the house while my little one takes a nap. I have had no issues with losing signal and the connectivity is awesome! One of my favorite parts of this system is that when I have to go to work and my little one is home with my husband, I have the ability to see him using my smart device. I love being able to talk to him and the two way talk is super clear and loud. The zoom in features and the panoramic viewing is also an awesome feature. This system also has a built-in temperature sensor that will alert you if the nursery is getting too hot or cold, how awesome is that! The motion detection works perfectly and alerts me immediately, plus it also records the images. When my little one starts to fuss, the sounds and lullabies comfort him back to sleep. Having the dual cameras make it so much easier since I can have one in his nursery and one in his playroom. It super convenient to no longer have to move the cameras each time we go to a different room! This camera system has it all; I would highly recommend this VTech camera to every parent. This would also make a great shower gift!

I spent a lot of time searching for a good 2 camera baby monitor. I saw this had mixed reviews but thought I'd give it a try. Terrible night view, monitor stopped working on day 1. Will be returning. Very disappointed.
