I have had this for nearly a year and have used them frequently on my little dog. She didn't like them at first but soon figured out they wouldn't hurt her. I have had no problems with this clipper set. I do as the directions say and oil the blades before I use them. I also brush the hair off between starting and finishing several times. I think they will be a working item for some time to come if they are used and taken care of properly.
I have tried all pet clippers and failed each time, but this one was remarkable. It cuts my shih-tzu's thick fur with so much ease! I highly recommend this product and would buy again.
MY DOGS ARE NOT AFARID of the clipper, very quite compared to most. works very well.
