Quality item, good little booklet to walk you through home hair-cutting, and a nice variety of comb adaptors to simplify the process. Nice "ear blending" angled adapters simplifies the sweep over the ears to finish the job off nicely. My wife was afraid to freehand with an older battery-powered trimmer I had, which didn't last the whole cut, or work smoothly through thick hair. These clippers work great, and I use the included high quality battery powered trimmer for touchups, and it's small enough to fit in the medicine cabinet.
As i have only used the product once so far, i will try to make this about my first use. I cut my own hair now these are easy to handle and well balance. I have been paying $15.00 for a bald cut with the clippers. After 3 more cuts i will on the free haircut side of this trade. I really like the all the extra pieces that come with it. if you are cutting cost here is a great place to get your money worth and I hope years of service before i start screaming at the clippers. smile
This set has almost everything a man needs for grooming in it. The clippers are very powerful and don't hang, bind or catch. I bought this kit for my husband and he couldn't wait to use it.
I have been cutting my own hair since the age of 16. I am now 32 years of age. I like my hair neat, so I cut/trim or edge it twice a week. I have used the same pair of Wahl clippers over these 16 years. Only reason for new ones is I dropped them several times and the case is finally starting to crack. The Wahl Chrome Pros are outstanding. The motor is very strong and cuts very cleanly. Those that know clippers know that the Oster Classic 76 is the best. However, they can run you upwards of $220 just for the clippers. Pound for pound (best bang for your buck). The Wahl Chrome Pro is the best. (Tip) Do not wrap cord tightly while storing. Will cause cracks in cord over time.
It didn't work very well on new-baby hair. I guess it's too fine. My husband has used it and likes it. It is certainly better than our last clipper. The first time he used it the guard fell off and he ended up with a bald spot, so be careful about that. He now knows to slow down and be a little more careful. No other incidents.
These are great clippers. Plenty of power and does a nice haircut. Plenty of attachments for a wide variety of cuts. I really like the product. Great value and I highly recommend it.
i haven't had this trimmer very long, so i can't speak to the long-term durability, but so far it's been great. a good value with everything i need.
I've used this clipper set for about 15 months now and have been extremely pleased with it. I use it every 3-4 weeks and keep the clippers well oiled - keeping the clippers well oiled is the key to keeping them sharp . Wahl truly makes a quality product. If you pay to have someone cut your hair, this set will pay for itself in a couple of months and last for many, many years.
This kit comes with everything except a dusting brush for cleaning off the cape. Other than that, this is an excellent choice for home and travel use. I went to the Wahl website and ordered me a dusting brush for five dollars along with other extra items.
Great clippers. Work well, quite. Cordless trimmers are nice but batteries don't last long if you are doing anything but a very quick trim. Much better value buying online than in store.(as is the case with most everything on WalMart Online)
