This is my 2nd Alcatel phone from Walmart. The first one is still working perfectly, I just wanted a bigger display. I've never had a single problem with my old one even after a year and a half, so I bought another Alcatel, and this one is another great budget phone. I have Walmart family mobile, and I just put the 16GB micro SD card and micro sim from my old phone into this one, and it recognized them both and I was up and running in about 60 seconds. Pro's: Big screen 2GB RAM 16GB ROM (11GB - 12GB available to user) Fast Great reception Connects to Wi-Fi fast Good battery life Con's: They can't seem to keep them in stock. I've had plenty of friends ask me what kind of phone I have and what network I was on, because I get great reception, fast downloads, and many times they are having problems getting the reception I do. I'm a happy Walmart Family Mobile user, and a very happy Alcatel customer.
I love my phone, I purchased this phone when my Galaxy Screen cracked, inside some Walmart they have a place where you can get your phone fixed. However the guy told me it would be $250 because my screen was cracked which affected the mother board. I went to the electronic department and grab the closet phone I could to my Galaxy... Best choice ever!! I've had the phone under Metro Pc Service which it came with MetroPcs Sim card, my phone has no issues. Front Camera is not always perfect but It works well. No issues, no popping noise as I have seen the other reviews. I have additional storage card and happy as I can be!
This Alcatel is larger thany last two and seems sufficient for my needs (talking, texting, Google searches, news and weather info.
I bought because i was getting on road for 550mile trip. Boy did it serve it purpose. Car overheated 350m away from home. It was spot on for communication, text, and wifi hotspot............ The phone is awesome especially for the price bracket. Ive done multiple specification comparisions. It is best in its class and only out done by more expensive fones. The fone is quick and responsive. Im satified with the main camera. It serves it purpose for me. Reason for 4⭐⭐⭐⭐ Con............ dragon glass must be a baby soft undeveloped dragon. It only is resistant to fingernail scratches and that might be an overstatment. Must buy screen protector film
IIt's a good phone. Only issue I have is every time I try to play my music it says UI stop working and won't play my music and you have to install an app to add a personal ringtone other than the ringtones the phone came with.
This phone far out performs my wife's galaxy prime. The storage space is great and its rather quick. I do worry about the longevity of the phone. Its been about 6 months and I do have a handful of issues with it. The charging port gets loose and it starts getting harder and harder to charge it. The headphone jack has this connection issue that prompts google voice search or whatever to constantly pop up, especially while listening to your music. Ui has stopped working is a bit common, but the worst to date that irritates me more than it all...is...that a lot of my phone calls will not hang up. It'll say continue to call in progress, then its stuck on hanging up. You have to restart the phone when this happens. Probably occurs twice daily minimum. I think the phone is great for the money, and better than the one touch fierce which is utter junk, but it still has a lot of bugs to fix
this a very slow phone , it takes forever to open any apps. on the other side , it has a real nice and cool design.
Purchase this phone about two weeks ago sound is loud at times and not at times certain calls I have a lot of crunching sounds and the camera flash light pops on for no reason and want go off until I restart it also freezes up a lot I will be taking it back to the store today for a refund
We just purchased this phone 3 months ago and the charging port already doesn't want to charge. My husband only charged it at night and never used it when charging. It was never dropped but we will never buy alcatel again. We have been thru about 4 phones in the past 2 years. So ridiculous that a phone can't make it a half of year anymore, what happened to the old school phones where they would last 2 years or more
Please don't waste your money on thus phone, it's a piece of junk. I bought the pho e in February (2016) and having problems with it, I called Alcatel and the won't fix it and it's still under the warranty so I thought, I will never buy anything else that Alcatel makes ever again. I paid about $135 to $140 for the phone that's including the taxes and there's nothing I can do about it so there goes my money down the drain for nothing, biggest mistake and I promise no more Alcatel for me
