I LOVE the LG Optimus One!! It does everything an android from verizon does except TONS cheaper!! My husband has the new android from straight talk and his phone freezes up constantly, but mine has not at all! So thrilled with my choice to switch to Family Mobile!
Purchased a Samsung Dart. It was OK, but battery would only last one day. I returned it and bought the LG Optimus. I liked the phone much better and the battery life is waaaay better. Would like to get another one... Problem is that it is hard to find one in stock.
I love this LG Optimus One. A computer in the palm of your hand for an affordable monthly UNLIMITED rate (Only $45/mo and no contract) The service seems to be decent as well. It uses T-Mobile where I live in Minneapolis, MN. The store I bought my phone at sold it for far less ($150.00). Then all I had to do was purchase a $25 starter month card. The helpful Walmart associate started the smartphone up and switched my Straight Talk phone number to Family Mobile-all within about 5 minutes. I then had to wait for my old Straight Talk phone to quit working(approx. 3 hrs later), then the new LG Optimus One started working. The phone is sleek and user friendly. I love using Facebook and Google on this phone. I would reccommend anyone try this phone. If you are unsure, keep in mind you have 14 days to try it out wherever you live/work/travel and see if it fits your needs. If you are unhappy you are only out the $25 starter month and you will return the cell and get your money back. WIN WIN :)
This is my first smart phone and i love it. I would have gotten a IPhone but the data plan is well over 100.00 and with this phone 45.00 unlimited can't go wrong. where I live I can't get internet so I use this phone to download the tech guy pod cast and to download audio books. not the fastest way to do it but it works for me.
i paid alot less than on the web site,everything is as expected all the bells and whistles,only thing i have noticed,SD card access isnt there. you can view and listen to the items on it,you just cant access or manage it like on other phones,unless i am missing something.
