I purchased this phone for $100 because my other phone, a cheap straight talk galaxy something, was stolen. I was on an extreme budget and picked up this compadre with the unlimited EVERYTHING plan. People, this phone is amazing. The battery lasts 2-4 days if using for sporadic texts, Googles, phone calls, Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Pinterest/Etc. If I use it all day--like just woke up, grabbed it fully charged and sat around doing nothing but watching direct tv now or YouTube or whatever, it will last 6-8 hours, or longer if I put my screen at half brightness and set it to comfort view. THIS IS THE ONLY PHONE I'VE EVER OWNED THAT IF THERE'S ONLY LIKE 26%(FOR EXAMPLE) BATTERY LIFE, IN NOT WORRIED IT'LL DIE WHILE RUNNING AN ERRAND. I HAVEN'T EVEN NEEDED TO BUY A CAR CHARGER--I THOUGHT ABOUT DOING THIS WHEN I FIRST GOT IT OUT IF HABIT FROM NOT TRUSTING MY OLD PHONE. THE BATTERY IS GREAT. I WISH I COULD LET YOU BORROWED MY PHONE SO YOU COULD WITNESS IT YOURSELF--I'M THAT IMPRESSED WITH IT. AS FOR STORAGE--AMAZING. I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT APPS WERE LIKE BEFORE THIS PHONE. MY OLD PHONE WAS "FULL" BY JUST TURNING IT ON LOL. I HAVE FULL BOOKS, TUTORIALS, VIDEOS, FULL COLLEGE COURSES FRONT JOHNS HOPKINS UNIVERSITY, MEMORY GAMES FOR ADULTS, A BARRAGE OF KIDS APPS, PHOTOS, DOCUMENTS--PROBABLY 50 APPS AT LEAST, AND I AM BARELY HAVING TO DELETE THE ONE'S I DON'T USE TO BE ABLE TO DOWNLOAD NEW ONES THAT I WON'T USE EITHER LOL. I'M JUST FLOORED WITH WHAT APPS ARE NOW. I WASN'T ABLE TO HAVE THEM ON MY STRAIGHT TALK PHONE (EXCEPT LIKE CRAIGSLIST AND OFFER UP. I ACTUALLY HAD TO DELETE OFFER UP ON MY OLD PHONE, DOWNLOAD LETGO, AND ALTERNATE DOING THAT EVERY TIME I WANTED TO LOG IN ON MY STRAIGHTTALK PHONE TO HAVE ACCESS TO BOTH APPS. I HAVE THOSE APPS (AT THE SAME TIME LOL) AND ABOUT 5 OTHER SALES APPS NOW. JUST GREAT, SERIOUSLY HAS CHANGED MY LIFE. SINCE I HAD A CAR FALL ON ME AND CRUSH MY BACK, IN NOT VERY MOBILE EVEN THO YOU WOULDN'T ASSUME THAT IF YOU SAW ME BECAUSE I'M YOUNG AND LOOK TO BE IN SHAPE. THIS PHONE ALLOWS ME TO STUDY OR SEARCH OR READ OR WATCH VIDEO OR WHATEVER EVEN WHEN I CAN'T MOVE!! THANK YOU!! Also, this phone has an unlimited EVERYTHING plan that works. I've watched countless Christian videos, course videos, the kids have watched BibleMan over and over and it's still at the sane speed. I've used over 20 gbs of data and no slow down. I have to renew tomorrow. My old phone hardly made a phone call when the renew date was even in sight lol, seriously. We bought my wife the same phone and added her to my plan and saved $5 monthly (I think it's $5 off, it might be more, and every line after is discounted as well, plus they have family lands, etc) for the additional line. Her phone came from a different Wal-Mart, about 2 weeks later and is identical in performance. The one thing I'd suggest--But a full case for $6-$10 from eBay. Dropped my phone once as the screen cracked (out of view, in the top corner. It doesn't go onto my viewing area at all but still cracked). This is every phones problem tho so thi sadvice is across the board. I got a case that completely covers my phone, screen as all, and the crack hasn't progressed one bit subs my wife's phone Is mint as I bought her case before I even bought her phone. Sorry to those who reviewed badly on this phone. I don't know why yours isn't the same as mine or my wife's. Ours are amazing. Plus the hotspot works faster than my century link internet! Thank you.
Could not be happier - I bought this to replace my aging Samsung S3 that could not be updated and was a battery eater. I was concerned that I would have to pay hundreds of dollars for a replacement phone. The LG was less than $60! The LG is a great phone - I am completely satisfied.
This phone is a low end phone, so don't expect too much from it. It's got a decent camera, a good sized screen, and overall a pretty likeable design. That said, it does have some flaws, like being slower than higher end phones, and the camera is definitely not top of the line. But honestly, for $60 I think you get what you pay for, so don't expect a great phone. It is a good beginner phone, or great for someone who just needs a pretty basic phone for email, web browsing, texting, and calling, but don't expect to run the latest 3D games or apps very well.
Good phone for price. Better than ZTE I had and faster. Battery life good. No complaints so far
I replaced a phone I've had for 5 years and this phone had older technology, the phone was slower, I couldn't run streaming apps without Wi-Fi, I was told my storage was running low the second week and I downloaded under 10 new apps and if I was listening to music or a podcast if I opened another app like Facebook or Instagram my music/podcast would stop playing.
Bought this phone 6 mos ago. At first it worked fine. As time went on it for worse and worse! It absolutely sucks! I would never buy an LG phone againl
Do not buy this cellphone just bought it an hour ago trying to charge it and it gets hot phone get heated piece of garbage
The camera is definitely not 8mp quality. Internet lags. Phone calls aren't clear. Now I know why there's such a big discount on it :( don't nobody got time for defective phones!
Over heated on first call. Will not connect to internet. On first c was breaking up badly.
I havnt even had this phone in my possession for an hour when i started having problems, it kept shutting off and i thought huh maybe it just needs to charge.. plugged it in and guess what it kept turning off still while on the charger and that is when i noticed the error that popped up right before it shut off it said something along the lines of " Phone has reached a high temperature and will now shut down".. it has literally done it every 3 to 5 minutes after i turn it back on and try to use it. hoping i can return it and get a new device same day and not be without a phone again for another almost week.
