This might not be the same as other high priced phones, but for general use, this is great. Especially for this price, I don't think it can be beat. I am using T-Mobile service, and needed a new phone for my father. Since he doesn't play any games, but watches Youtube and few other stuff, I needed on with bit bigger screen with reasonable price. And, this phone was just perfect for that. Only thing to note is, this phone does not have a light sensor, so no automatic brightness control. I highly recommend this phone to anyone who's looking for a reasonably priced phone. FYI, Walmart Family Mobile uses T-Mobile network, so I knew this would work with T-Mobile service, but wasn't sure whether there is any lock. There is none. Just pop in the T-Mobile SIM card, and it works flawlessly. When I checked T-Mobile account page, the phone associated with that number showed this phone correctly. T-Mobile sells this phone for $189.99, with $20 SIM card kit which cannot be removed, making total $209.99. With T-Mobile, you can pay that through 24 months, but I don't think that's worth paying 2X of this price. Don't waste your money.
The phone works really well so far and I have no complaints about it. It fits in my hand or pocket perfectly. You can't go wrong with Samsung! My favorite feature on the phone is if while taking a selfie you say "cheese" or "smile" it automatically snaps the picture for you. Good quality camera and overall really nice phone!
we bought two of these for our family and are very pleased with them. we've used them for about a month now and are very happy. I ordered site to store and didn't wait more than a couple minutes at the counter before I had my phones in hand and paid for, VERY impressed.
this is a very nice phone, I like the way it feels in my hand and the screen is perfect for me. I also like the way the screen lights up the color is bright and easy to text on the phone screen. It has a far better outreach than my last Samsung. I love the Samsung products and would gladly recommend this phone to anyone who is in need of a new phone. Thanks so much for your products being priced right it was a good value and fit into our budget.
Great phone. Had a 5s and always found myself recharging it so I opted to buy a new phone. Battery life on this is awesome . Crisp pictures , great resolution , clear phone calls . No cons .
I love my new phone. I love the design of it , the screen 5.0 is great for my needs. The selfie photo is Great!! I would recommend this phone to others.
My account with Family Mobile has been active for about 3 years now and I really enjoyed good service from my last Samsung Smart Phone , 3 years I think is pretty good so I decided to try the newer Samsung Grand Prime, considering the 3 years time lapse the cost was close to the Samsung Concord I bought . Right away I put the old Sim card in and was in business and ready to go , next I used the Bluetooth app and connected to my car Media Center, Great so far . Just had to make a call {ya know}. Got home and next thing connected to my WiFi with the greatest of ease. Had to Download my favorite App WWE.com. I watched some wrestling had a little fun. Now it was time to figure out how to use my VR Device downloaded some VR apps and more fun. Just love the phone, realized that the battery life was also a big plus, by days end it only used 65% a couple of weeks later after 14hour it still uses a small amount of the battery , Great phone I would even recommend it to my mother . Thanks This Phone does nice selfies too.
I bought this phone because of the price. I think it's a nice phone for under $100. The the screen is bright, sound is great, and navigating through the phone is easy. If anyone plan on purchasing the this phone, I recommend buying a micro SD card for more storage.
I've bought 3 of these phones now for my kids all in all they are excellent phones especially considering the price. In a lot of ways they are actually better than my galaxy 3 just less memory. I've found now tons of apps that play store says isn't supported on my galaxy that the Prime can download without a problem. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the last phone had a problem with the lock screen it worked for 15 - 20 times then would not recognize the correct pattern. I returned it and had no problems with the replacement at all. Execellent value dependable phone for a price that doesn't break the bank.
Phone is good for making calls and taking pictures. The memory is not enough to have more than maybe 10 apps if you are lucky. I had a galaxy four and lost it. That is the only reason I got this phone is because it was affordable for my very unexpected jam. I would however not recommend this phone to anyone that likes a lot of apps and needs a lot of storage.
