I have seen many projects that use chalk paint, so when I ordered this Waverly Chalk Paint in the Night Sky color, I didn't know what to expect. As this is the first time I will be using this type of paint, I must say that I am very pleased with the color. It has a matte finish & to me it has a grayish blue color. It has a matte finish & there is no prepping needed to use it. It is for indoor use only & is soap & water cleanup. I am looking forward to working on a project using this gorgeous night sky color.
If you're looking to decorate with neutrals and have a few decor items to paint these are nice chalk paints! I went with sandstone because it looked like a cool tone neutral. I had a few items that I wanted to give a makeover and this paint was just what I needed to get the look I wanted! I'm now going to order a few other colors!!
Very good quality acrylic paint. It has a nice chalk matte finish and adheres very well to wood. The paing odor is minimal and it dries fast. The package has 2oz a good amount for small crafting projects or color testing. The color sandstone can be easily matched with any decor, great for a light colored distressed furniture. It doesn't require multiple layers for a finished look on a single color project.
This sandstone paint by Waverly Inspirations is top quality. I love all of their colors. The sandstone looks like a light taupe color on my gnome. The paint is perfect for all your crafts. I like that this is a matte cover. The paint goes on very smoothly and never clumps. I will be buying all their paints.
Chalk Night Sky acrylic paint matte finish, no prep. This paint is such a lovely subdued color. It goes really well with gray tones too. This is a larger bottle 8 oz, and covers really well. This is a more upscale paint in my opinion. I love it.
This chalk paint can be used on woods, glass and metal. It's easy to get a distressed effect using sandpaper, and once you are satisfied, you can use the company's wax to seal in your masterpiece! One small bottle can cover about 5 ft.², so you can go crazy with your project without fear of running out too quickly. Personally, I've used it on wood, and I like the look of it. It is a nice texture, and a great shade.
The night sky paint is a very pretty color. It is almost a blue/gray color, perfect if painting a night sky. I love it on my gnome figurine. The paint is wonderful. It does not clump at all and goes on very smoothly. I will be buying a lot more of these paints.
Using this for small projects around the house but totally plan to use on some small furniture pieces. Totally in love with the color 'Sandstone'. It has a lovely matte finish. Smooth application, dries fast, no odor, easy clean up.... has a modern look....what more could I ask for in a project paint?
I am suspicious to speak about chalk paint, because I like it so much, but… the paint is nice and thick, of course shaking well helps with the homogenization. The paint seemed nice and thick witch helped not to run. The color was so pretty. I am happy with this acquisition.
I really liked working with this product. It goes on nice and smooth and cleans up easy. I love the matte look of a chalk paint. It was a thick consistency and didn't take too many coats. The color definitely looks more gray than blue, which I liked, but be aware. My only complaint is how small the bottles are for the price.
