Very happy with this product. They let me keep the heat I'm looking for. Low and slow, hot and fast and In between.
Bought the Char-Baskets to replace the worn out charcoal rails.
These baskets are great! I tend to use less charcoal (Sorry Weber). I use these for direct and indirect cooking (and smoking) they are nice you can move them around. If you buy these you will not be disappointed.
I grill a lot of pizza, these char baskets are a must for indirect heat when using a pizza stone for awesome pizza everytime.
Easy way to do indirect Heat cooking. Able to add coals and wood chunks without them falling all over the place. Easy clean out after. Quality is better than expected for the price. Bought them to smoke a brisket. Came out perfect.
If you own a weber grill, you have to have these. They allow you to have a "cool side" on your grill. I use them every time I grill and the food comes out excellent.

They give more control over the heat source for outside grilling/smoking.
They work, they work well, but they need replacing every few years because they get really rusty. I wish there were a solid steel (or stainless steel) version of these that would last indefinitely. The grill I'm using is 12 years old and still in good shape, but this is about my 5th or 6th batch of Char-Baskets.
Good product for indirect cooking small things quickly. They don't hold alot of charcoal for long burns (over 3 hours) and if you run both baskets at the same time it uses up space for the cool part of the 22" kettle. Weber makes great products but I would like to see one large basket that can be placed on one side of the kettle to hold more charcoal for long burns and for searing.
