I thought I'd ordered a Joe Blow, but this Weed Eater does the job! It's not super-strong, but I'm just using it at my house, not commercially. After reading the reviews, I also ordered a 100' extension cord (should've ordered two!) -- the total price for both was less than $60, an excellent value!
This machine was even more than what I was expecting. It is light weight, powerful, easy to use. It took care of the leaves and debri on my very long driveway with ease. I was worried it wouldn't be powerful enough, it had plenty of power. I am older and can't lift heavy things for very long, I had no problem, it is very light weight. I am very happy with it and really enjoyed using it. I am thrilled with my purchase.
I live in NYC and have a small yard. This blower is small/light but very powerful. I use it to blow dirt, leaves, pollen etc. mostly from a tree that covers part of my yard. One thing to note is that this does NOT come with an extension cord. I had one already, so it didn't matter, but it won't power without a cord to plug in. For $27.00 including tax and shipping, this was a phenomenal deal for a great product.
I absolutely love this blower. Easy to use, lightweight, blah, blah, blah... I just need to find a better way to keep the leaves and dirt to not blow back where I just cleaned. Too bad Walmart doesn't sell coordination.
Half the bulk and weight of my last one with just as much power! Easier to store and use. Great performance for a great price!
Great little machine for the price. When compaired with a slightly more expensive machine of a different make available in the store the quality of the Weedeater stood out big time. It is a light duty machine but it's weight make it easy to handle. It has only one speed but it still has the ability (if you want it to) to move even smaller (<4") river rock if you want it to. Not that you would use a leaf blower for this task but I did find I had to be careful not to get the end of the nozzle to close to the work area as it will move things you may not want to move. Best value for the price I've seen in an inexpensive electric yard tool for some time.
I use this blower to sweep my porch. It does a wonderful job in just a few minutes. Sweeping with a broom takes five times longer and doesn't clean as well as the blower. Love it!!!
I read the other reviews and decided to buy one. Glad I did, it is a great blower. With a lot of power. I don't think you will find one at a better price.
if u have an estate this may not be for you,but for normal household use gets job done.more power than I expected,but not huge volume of wind,gets job done on leaves and trash.
The handle broke in my old Polan leaf blower and I needed to replace it. When I saw this one at such a good price I jumped right on it and looked in the local store but they didn't have one this late in the season. So I ordered it. A little disappointed. My old one was two speed and had a longer nozzel on it. The 7.5 Amp just isn't strong enough for the job.
