Great skillet. Heat up fast. Like deep walls. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Pros: Depth-real Good, Fast Response, Glass Lid, Usa Product, Great Features, Tilt -grease Removal, Comfortable Design Cons: None--- Lg Handles, Stronger Heat Around Coil Other thoughts: I have been trying different cooking to see how it makes various meals and I HAVE NOT BEEN DISAPPOINTED. Bacon: holds about 1/2 lb each time. Eggs: does a good job with all smaller group + Lg. omelets. A Roast was perfect***cooked faster then i thought-Pan height was a plus. Handles though lg.,help to prevent getting too close to hot pan. Glass top is perfect to keep an eye on whats cooking without removing cover. Tilt allows for grease to puddle for easy removal. Variable heating plug that removes for immerse for hand washing or DW., heats up fast. ***Be aware that the stronger heat is around the coil area in pan center . I just moved food around. No real issues, just a few things to be aware of. I WAS VERY HAPPY THAT THIS IS A MADE IN USA PRODUCT.

i got an email from the company asking me to review the product they obviously didnt pay attention to the fact that i ordered it as a gift and sent it to someone else but i do have this also and its works great lasts longer then any others i tried lately heats up fast whats really good is you can cook anything in these things

I made fried chicken which calls for oil heated to 350 degrees, I kept checking the oil with several thermometers at 350 setting the oil only went to 250 degrees. I turned the dial all the way up and the highest the oil temp. went was 325. I used this setting but had to keep turning the chicken to keep from burning the bottom. I also tried to simmer a sauce with the dial set to simmer but it kept evaporating and had to keep adding liquid. I have another electric skillet and the temp. stays at the temp. on the dial. I might take this one back and get something else.
Pros: Cons: Control doesn't shut off Other thoughts: I do not like the electric control for this product. The off position will not shut off,I have to unplug the cord to stop it from cooking.
