I have this unit in replacement of the Vitapour Bottom Loading . This Whirlpool water dispenser is way much better than the Vitapour, it is made of stainless steel front frame and it got a digital adjustable temperature control on cold and hot. The cold water is really cold and the hot water is also hot at 190 degrees but i only set it up only at 170 degrees just for tea. Tea only required between 160 to 170 degrees over that it will burn the tea leaves and it taste bad. This unit also have a feture of self cleaning but i really don't know how it works because i only have use this unit for a month now but I highly recommend this unit .
Absolutely love this water dispenser. Proper size, easy to install, quiet and has switches on the back to turn off heating or cooling functions. The display shows the temperatures of the hot and cold water which is informative. A great product!!
I had a refurbished water dispenser, which eventually stopped working. My search for a replacement led me to this particular make,though it had a day delay for delivery of which their was no explanation given. Nevertheless its a good appliance with the price it was sold,compare to other stores.
We have only had this dispenser for a month. So far it is everything we hoped it would be! Only left maybe a quarter cup of water in bottom of bottle.
Small dent on the front door, easy installation, had this unit for a week or so and so far so good, easy operation and fully functioning as advertised. Nice addition to the home/office
I love this whirlpool cooler. So far it has been a great purchase. It is small and the bottles are on the bottom which makes it so easy to change. Only thing that would make it better is a third setting for room temperature. The settings were very easy to program.
So far so good. Only had it for a week so its not really fair to give 5 Stars. If it continues to work for the next two years or so Ill change it to a 5 Star. Its nice to have cold and hot water on demand. I find myself drinking a lot more water and cutting back on the soda. Easy to set up, looks classy compared to top bottle dispensers.
Cold water not working . Tried resetting to no avail, removed the top cover saw that the baffle was unseated, reseated the baffle still not getting cold water. Unplugging unit and waiting 24 hours to see if that works.
The dispenser button was broken. It never returned to the off position which created a flood in the kitchen. Whirlpool service hours are during working hours and once reached are worthless. Returning requires repackaging and reshipping back to Walmart.
There was a big dent in the side when I took it out of the box. Something was leaking at the bottom. I plugged it in and it was at 70 degrees. I left it, went to work for four hours, came back and it was 81. Whirlpool customer services told me to return it because it sounded like a broken compressor. I think I'm just going to buy a cheaper model and learn how to clean the reservoir myself.
